The test kit was already demonstrated to work in many countries with reliable results so IMO there is nothing to prove. So the probability for its acceptance by the FDA and China due to urgency is very high as it is already working elsewhere. Basically there is nothing to prove. We only have to wait and follow strictly the FDA rules and procedures for approval. It is just a matter of being patient and when it comes I won't be surprised to see the SP going over £2 - £3 in less than a week.
I also convinced NCYT will be among the few company performing very well in the midst of a recession which is already starting to show in the form of downgrades of many sectors.

This is my own opinion of the situation regarding the effects of COVID-19 on the markets in general: Up to next summer, it is expected every company connected or not, to China will flag up trading difficulties due to the virus. Meaning that downgrades upon profit warnings will be announced in series. As the supply chain is hurt and logistics are poor, no company will work in a normal synchronised manner. Some are predicting a 50% drop in production and performance. In my opinion, the main winners in the midst of a full blown worldwide recession/economic crisis, will mainly be biotechs working to eradicate the virus by means of testing to isolate the infected to stop the spread of the disease, disinfection of hospitals and vaccines - unfortunately vaccines could take up to 18 months as they should go through various phases before allowed to be given to humans. So how can a savvy and logical investor be outside these sectors and in NCYT in particular ? Think about it.

Two sectors that will prosper in a bear market: Precious Metals and pharmas to some extent. I am now pretty sure that this virus is the ignition for a long correction of a bull market that lasted more than 10 years. Sectors such as oil, retail, industrials and services/logistics and software will go through a long and painful correction as China effect will slow down the world economy. The effect is already felt by a series of profit warnings that all flag up corona virus. So gold and silver will logically be the flight for safety.

This dropped a lot and there will be a recovery in PM soon. So I am in today.

Why invest in NCYT ? There is no other market catalyst to help other stocks and sectors to rise as long as the virus is not contained. In addition, the negative effects will start to show on companies hurt only 6 to 12 months later. The effect is always delayed as companies release their results - usually in the form of downgrades and profit warnings. On here, we only wait for the news on how many more kits are sold and which country has approved its kits. And each time, it will be a boost to the SP.

Tobler - A vaccine is welcome but cannot be effective on an already infected person. A vaccine has an effect only on healthy people. So diagnosis, thus testing as the first step will always be needed. NCYT will never stop manufacturing test kits.

The other gold mine for NCYT will be royalties through OEM's which will be 100% pure profit.
For every kit sold by Pfeizer, Roche or any other big pharma, it will be more cash for the company.

Tobler - This is just the virus testing kits segments. Many seem to have forgotten the work on cancer and genes. I expect therefore NCYT numbers exploding in 2020 while the whole markets and sectors are butchered throughout the world. IMO NCYT is the place to be for at least the 6 to 12 months short termers.

People are extrapolating between past epidemics - mostly limited to geographical areas and Coronavirus which is now hitting almost every country. Some do not see the real dangers as it spreads day by day. IMO the world economy will suffer for a few years. IMO many investors will flock to companies manufacturing test kits and vaccins. This will be for the year or so while industrials, airlines, miners, oilers and services/logistics will be deserted. How many shares has NCTY has to satisfy the demand ? Just think about it...

I think those who do not understand well the positive impact of the positive effect of unprecedented orders and inquires on NCYT numbers will find themselves hitting their heads against the wall very soon. Could be from tomorrow or next week. IMO this is one of the best places to be invested under these troubled times.

I think they are very busy with orders and production as we are facing a pandemic. It is more important than daily share fluctuations. Once they update the market, the SP will go far over £2.

I am invested on here with some cash waiting for other sectors. IMO the DOW will drop to 20.000 as the "symptoms" of the virus are already showing in the markets for other sectors (consumers, airline, industrials, oiler, miners, services and logistics etc.). So the probability for a further sharp drop of these sectors is almost 90%. So where else to invest ? On here at least we have plenty of news to come and the kit is selling like peanuts. So IMO I would not put my money in any other sector for the next 6 months or until the corona virus effects are clearer. Because for each profit warning released in the US, the sector and the markets will fall and the process will continue in that way for a while until the virus is completely beaten.

I know a bit China. For political reasons the Chinese "must have it and must be first" everywhere even if it is fake. For BVC, I think it doesn't have the experience of a biopharma like NCYT. How fast is their kit and how reliable is it ? Is is already tested and how long it takes to get the results ? Because just saying we have a developed a kit is not enough. The kit must work first and be reliable.
