Italy is crossing the 10.000 mark because of testing. I wonder how the US would feel when they discover the extent of infection. To me, because of greed and complacency, the US will be taken by surprise.

IMO the tip of the iceberg of infections will be the US. They have more focus on business and making profit than to protect the population. In less than one week, I expect the number will cross 1000 mark. Apparently many have to pay up to $700 for extra tests before they do the coronavirus's. I only hope they can recognise hospitals can be over-run by too many infections. Apart from Italy which took a brave decision, France, the UK and Germany are following the steps of Mr trump. Business as usual but they will pays 100 times more if they remain static.

Everybody is expecting a feedback from FDA but I am rather expecting a Trading Update where NCYT will say it is overwhelmed by orders, meaning they will beat their own expectations. This is far better than waiting for approval from the US, a country of 327 million people rather than a continent such as Europe with 730 million, Africa, 1.2 billion and India with 1.3 billion. Can they meet the demand alone ?
I think if NCYT succeeds into selling massively in France, UK and Germany, where the virus is just starting to spread, it won't need anywhere else because it won't meet the demand alone.

From today 10th of March, the whole of Italy will be isolated as a red zone until 3rd of April to stop the spread.

ChasPB - Your figures for Italy are correct. the second death rate after China. All northern regions are being isolated - about 16 million people - until the 3rd of April. Italy is perhaps one of the few countries that is taking seriously the epidemic by drastic measures. France and Germany will explode as soon as testing is generalized.

NCYT is the best best to be in vested. If any positive news comes this week, I can easily £2 breached.

Why everybody thinks this "FDA" approval is the only string that holds the growth of NCYT ? There are many countries all over the world where millions of test kits are in huge demand. Whether the approval comes today or in a year, it does not change the demand from more than 100 countries, thus NCYT growth story. Europe alone, stricken by the virus, is twice the population of the US. This is without adding the demand in India, Africa and south America. So what's this all about ? Shorters praying for an exit ?
