BlackRock and Co. trying to flush out the last holders to maximise their gains.

For some reason the SP looks artificially held down since BlackRock arrived.

I see large chunks of buys going through for the last few days.

Is it held down for letting someone buy cheap ?

It would be amazing if they could release the results a few days before the 29th to give a shockwave and a good lesson to the main shorter: BlackRock. Something similar happened with Ocado a few years ago and many lost an arm and a leg.

For info, RELX Marcket Cap is almost £70 Billion.

Relx is British and is even bigger than IPSOS.

IMO Yougov will definitely complement RELX business than IPOS if/when the sector consolidates.

Bera looks only at one segment: Brands for shops etc. while Yougov is catering for market reseach for Entertainment, politics, consumer, society, travel, sports etc. etc.

Volume is fairly high today too.

First time we've seen a volume of over 1.2 million.

I am very impressed by the amount of profit it makes: £43-46 million profit for sales around £327-330 million and growing.

Under present depressed share price, paying £8 - £10 per share will get a good profit return and will double the money within 5 - 8 years -

Bid approach, not "bod"

Tom: I agree as the abnormal spiking and then a total freeze is not something I used to see in the past.

This is totally new.

To maximize their gains they want to buy cheap so they need to hold it down as long as possible.

Possible reasons ?

1/ Stellar results on 29 October

2/ Possible bod approach

I am convinced the SP is artificially frozen to maximise short gains when they have to close before the results.

This SP recent behaviour is not usual at all.

I prefer either Malbec or Châteauneuf-du-Pape when finance allow ...

IMO the SP will start its upward direction once the results are released.

The last update was excellent, Yougov is well capitalised with £70 million cash and no debt.

Adding Yabble, experts in AI, to its portfolio is a perfect combination to speed up its market reearch and become more efficient.

So, to me, the company is a good investment case.

Regarding the SP downward trend for a while now, one must always understand that nothing goes down or up in a non-stop mode.

I am convinced its time will come and will reverse updwards once for all.

Yougov has a huge database and a fairly long history in market research and data analysis.

Yes there is this possibility to move to the main market but IMO these will end up taken over by someone like RELX (REL)

as Yougov will definitely complement the business in particularly market reasearch.
