Yeah l asked the question of Bamps in an earlier thread 'Molybdenum'

The top of the ore at Havieron contains metals which will probably not be easily trucked to Telfer and which would require the adjustment you spoke about.

Whilst Telfer is treating extra nuggets found at WDD etc al , l agree - we should be looking to build a train ticket(did you see,,)

Possibly to deal with early Molybdenum or even GOLD

I suggestEd in an earlier post that we should - in my opinion - look to build a Molybdenum train to deal with the top of the ore from Havieron. Would save trucking it to Telfer for processing and it is looking more than likely that Telfer will still be available for treating Gold ore from WDD. Does anyone know where we stand with Newmont should we go down this route, l believe they have royalty rights on Telfer?!

I am still hopeful of you and Bamps coming up to Lancashire. I know there was talk of something Warrington way but you couldn't get enough takers.

I used to attend a monthly meeting at Barton Grange hotel on the A6 N of Preston with I.CHEM.E and they would accommodate us l am sure. Again this would depend on the numbers

That last post was somewhat naive.

We might be 6 months in since our perfectly timed takeover of one of the top 10 mining operations in Australia but we're not really on any kind of learning curve. We inherited a workforce that knows everything there is to know about Telfer and bear in mind that the plant has been in operation for over 20 years.

I am on record in having said " West Dome Deeps and others were put on the back-burner by those experienced Newcrest staff and 'forgotten' until Greatland came to the party".

More productive methods, better processing of copper and gold and of course the increased price of these.. should blow the bluddy wheels off on results day

Keep posting Bamps, everything you have to say l find interesting and factual.

I believe that it is also year end so the bean counters will have been particularly busy.

Also Australian year end so I imagine that they will have some equivalent of our ISA ,Sipp or some such - and individuals will be able to invest big style.

If Im reading it right we are up 6% down under.

Been around since 2019 and I don't think I have sold a single share. Been passed off on many occasions and you would think l should have guessed what they MMs could get up to by now

I have dropped back to look at the UTs again and there's no doubt in my mind that we have reached the big time.

Trades are going through for million shares, and this is the equivalent of 30 million.

I hope and prey that they are going down under as AIM is a no no as far as I'm concerned

I read E1 post re:- thieves and prison time for shisters who have been found guilty of manipulation of these BBs.

There is no doubt in my mind that it is going on here.

Unlike many AIM stocks we have - finally - got something somebody might want.

We know it but for the moment.. MMs don't.

There doesn't seem to be an answer to the problem but jail time might be a first resort

UT seems to be MMs way of manipulation. They have been posting 365+ at close but opening 310,320 all week. Consequently we have shown red/ negative the whole time.

Contra .. we might open in the blue and they will walk us down towards the close.

Second guessing their games is beyond me but all week we have bought 5/4 or better and not moving an inch forward

He - Bamps - went on to say that the Molybdenum plant paid for itself inside the 1st year.

Bamps posted last Friday a fascinating insight into how miners are thinking and what is likely going to happen in the early years at Haveiron.

I hadnt realised that the top of the motherlode we will encounter, contains a lot of Molybdenum, and that at Cadia this brought Newcrest AISC down to $0-100.

He suggested that a new Moly plant would be required at Telfer.

1). Can I suggest that we build it at Havieron to save trucking it to Telfer?

2). Would we be reneighing? on the deal we struck with Newmont and the use of - their - trains?

Treating it on site in the early stages would buy time to build a conveyor and trucking route between our two golden eggs.

My instincts tell me 'do not engage' but your quote, MMs run businesses.. l have long suspected that you are one.

As is predicted overnight spread of 350/ 360 = 365 has already become 310/350 and we havent openEd yet

Couldnt resist them at 310p. I have ranted about MMs for some time and I do believe they are a loose cannon where AIM are concerned - to the extent that this government are going to step in - but if (as has been predicted by many on here) the majority of our shares end up in asx hands,it will serve them right.

They bleed any value out of a share until they fold or - if any good - are taken over by American or other foreign entities.

This at the expense of UK shareholders

I appreciate that we need to take a lot of the figures for volume trading with a pinch of salt on here, and it would appear that sells very nearly equal buys. Which is impressive if you take into consideration that MANY of you are locked out until various platforms get with it.

I had a little top up this morning at exactly 310p and I seem to have timed it perfectly, v. Unusual for me but then it would have been foolish not to. Wish l had a kitty for trading as l believe there will be many opportunities to make easy money this next week or so.

Factor in that our antipodean friends will have similar issues with funds etc. and a 13% rise on a brief trading day augers well for tonight and for the rest of the week.
