Is anyone still in the dark about why we were shorted for weeks and months.?
It begs the question “if 6 major institutions have known for that period of time.. - that a discounted raise was imminent- how honest do we believe them to be?”

There has been more said about shorting on here and nobody more vociferous than.. can l say Hydrogen!,? I am certain in my mind that we are being manipulated but to what end? It would be easy to speculate that Newcrest have a vested interest in this- l mean to be buying in pre - 5 per cent take up.. but then the majority opinion seems to be they’re gentlemen! What is not in doubt is we have far too many paid negative naysayers and muppets with an agenda! Not heard much from pentonville, or his doppelgänger this week but then maybe he \she is leaving this to Joebloggs

Since he seems to be a better trader than most of us.. Maybe we should take his advice! Tongue in cheek so to speak. There is no doubt in my mind that the big insto's are coming in with a vengeance next couple of weeks. And as hydrogen alluded to this week - when they want in price is immaterial.

Pity the spread is so big- on the face of it a penny a share- but I have topped up at 16.7 and am happy to accumulate some more beeautis. Also happy in the knowledge that I am contributing to Callum’s pension pot. I would be interested in any thoughts amongst contributors about long term plans for this vehicle. The surest way to realise true NAV would be to sell up but will that be on Newcrest taking the 5% they have an option on or are we going full on and let Callum pay his mortgage regularly?

Thanx TMT. I had a reply from paddy and he tells us that artemis have total control of Apollo next door. N C have done deals with Antipa and the 70:30 split is familiar.
I noticed that artemis are valued at £100m and we're worth currently £850m.. I know.. WE Were worth N of £1 billion recently - so a deal is not out of the question.
I hoped to buy some ARV tonight but my funds not cleared. They were up 5.35% last night

I am on record in my belief that Artemis have some of our gold over the boundary.
I am also of the belief that they-Artemis- have a similar arrangement with Newcrest, namely a 70 : 30 split on any find(s).
Could you please confirm and maybe TMT suggest what Newcrest would think were we to attempt a tie-in or indeed a buy out of ARV

I am up for it come 12/04 but then these arrangements tend to fizzle away.

I am NW based Lancaster to be precise and have tried to forward Skipton as a meet but Manchester doable

For JLP read BMR and Colin .... They shafted shareholders after letting the share fall and capital raise. Does this sound familiar.? What you are getting at jlp should be Berkeley Mineral (bmr).

So hopeful does this imply that you will be buying Sabina instead? I am certainly tempted

I appreciate that EUA were included in the blackrock fund and big buys went through all week leading up to that cut-off date but this week seems to be of a similar magnitude.
DFS report obviously the biggest catalyst here. Naughtily l asked Hydrogen - on ggp bbc - to comment and add some meat to the bones of Tillymint post @ 22 55 last night but l am still waiting.
Would be excellent to boast hydrogen aboard this fantastic rocket ship.

Not surprisingly Hydrogen here today.. We had SVE up 14% header for a chunk of the afternoon. By hook or by crook l have ended up with virtually a 1:1 ggp sve split so 14% a day will do me just fine.
Just a shame the spread is so big.. Although l don't suppose it matters until we choose to sell and that isn't going to be any time soon. Soonest 50% discount to nav is reduced the better all round
