sheungy, i think the main game underway is simply that various EU
politicians & eurocrats are desperately trying to find a scapegoat for their
populations to blame (for covid deaths, lockdowns, severe economic
damage), in order to shift blame away from themselves. AZN is one of
the few targets they have, and litigation is another way of slinging muck.

(personally, i am not that bothered one way or the other about breakup,
or otherwise, of the UK. but rather off-topic for the AZN board, sorry!)

to my way of thinking, the UK is still a remarkably divided place, with many
festering wounds. ...attention has been on surviving covid and lockdown,
but boris and co have probably doomed the union, on a 15-20 year basis.
