slightly off-topic, & hopefully there are many differences between
ADME and LEK, but LEK news today a useful reminder of some of
the pitfalls and complexities of trying to do business in nigeria.

if you haven’t already been interviewed by the FCA about WRN, you
could also email FCA and say that you understand they still have an
investigation in progress about WRN, that you have heard that some
pis were contacted to give statements, and that you are able and
wanting to contribute your own experience to their investigation?

(as has been noted relatively recently on the other site by davidk,
there still seem to be asset sale restrictions in place for certain
connected individuals apparently still under FCA investigation.)

this is the kind of issue where a clear, sensible, 20 min video interview of the
CEO by some sharecaster would actually be genuinely helpful, to talk through
at greater length, with diagrams etc. to help illustrate, if ADME really did want
to bring some clarity. - we know from previous that osa does look at these
kind of chatboards, so c’mon osa, step up the plate and clarify, for good or ill.

no idea what the actual answer is to these various issues, but more
broadly would suggest, it’s not generally a positive sign if folks can’t
easily tell from a company’s official comms what it actually owns or
what is happening in the underlying business… the old maxim about
investing in shares where one understands the business is often
good common sense. - opacity doesn’t necessarily mean that a
company is a dud, but it sure does increase the risk of being bilked.

i think align may have had other things on their mind this year, i.e. just trying
to stay in business, given some of the disastrously bad calls they were making.

… think market is mildly pleased that pru is actually getting on with it, at least.
but would be good to get that fund-raising (/related uncertainty) out of the way.

perhaps xodus are especially cheap?

or perhaps they are particularly good at coming up
with the kind of results that their clients want to see?

— either way, it certainty isn’t because they are speedy.

sold a few to fund a little more in RDSB, SSE, AV.
