no apologies needed - folk reading these boards all entitled to
hold different views from each other, and also everyone entitled
to change their views and investing decisions over time, on new
information, their changing personal circumstances etc etc.

meanwhile, there’s a guy over on ADVFN called ‘rangenoresources’
who says that you could just phone up the nomad to ask them what
the project debt is, because he says that’s not price sensitive. lol.

… & maybe some legal debates to follow, which will take time and money,
if some of the partners do want to try to claw back any money from yinka?

all a bit never-never, dan. maybe one day, months / years from
now, they will clarify project debt publicly, but don’t hold your
breath … but the cash crunch is looming much more imminently.

placing ahoy, if they can manage to get any interest.

… and as ever, they say nothing whatsoever
about the size of the remaining project debt.

i am not much of a chart boy, but interesting to see share price almost
touching that line thro’ lows at late oct ‘20, early march ‘21, late sept ‘21.

it’s a divi stock for the next couple of years, but it’s quite likely that when the
current dividend policy expires, and they set out their plans for shareholder
returns over the next few years after that, the revised dividend policy will be
much more conservative. - doesn’t mean SSE would be a bad investment,
but the current yield is not necessarily a good guide to SSE long term payouts.

do you have anything particular in mind
as a target for such a bolt-on acquisition?

evening king. i think i can understand what you mean about feeling
ashamed at falling for it, but that’s very common in these situations -
the real point is just that these guys are very, very good getting people to
fall for it, because they’ve had a *lot* of practice, over 20 years+ of similar
activities across various set-ups. … it’s more about what scum-buckets
they are, rather than your decisions. ? the learning point is perhaps just
to be wary of stock promoters in other companies who have an attractive
‘story’ to tell, but provide implausible figures about potential growth /
sales / prospects etc, or simply claim that they can’t actually tell you
the figures because it’s all very hush-hush to avoid compromising the
magic deal that will make all holders rich? atb, stay well, lucky & happy.

the company keeps promising to reduce its operating costs, but they tend to
say much less about the admin costs ( - ! because that’s their pork barrel!).

bought enough SSE now.

would be nice to think that slow and steady will win the race,
but then again, that’s not how usain bolt won his medals.

but if there are any attempts to drill new wells at
aje, then the project debt will just balloon yet again
with new debt, probably before the old is paid off.

… but if there are no new drills at aje, then there
will be no revenue as those wells are deteriorating.

i am rather suspicious that ADME will *never* get to a
point where they receive *any* cash from aje revenues.

i think that the black hole of ‘project debt’ will
just take it all. (that’s a nice set-up for someone!)
