this is still just a terrible company
with no good assets, bleeding huge
amounts of cash every month but no
sources of income onto their books.

clock is ticking until their next attempted placement. someone
was trying to massage the share price up this morning, but then
that sale of £2.5K gave ‘em a reality check. roll on the court case.

bought some of that 4/2 slice back.

bear in mind that you can carry forward losses from
a year to set against CGT in some *future* tax years.

selling something at a loss for a small amount is still better
than holding onto something that becomes worth absolutely
zero (- which is what i think will happen with ADME shares).

out of interest, if you have sold a call which then ends up very
in the money, do you tend to buy it back before expiry, or do
you usually let it settle & provide the underlying called shares?

i suppose on the plus side, suppose amit did still have those shares from 1996,
then he could sell them off in order to provide compensation to all the pis
who were badly ripped off by CTAG, in all its various rinse & repeat guises?

not gonna happen, though, is it, as it seems that he’s still on the prowl hoping to
sucker more people into handing over cash to him, never ever to be seen again.

re leverage & daily funding costs, i quite often use longer maturity spread
bets as a way to give myself some (relatively mild) leveraged exposure to
preferred long holdings (e.g. Aviva, RDSB, AZN). like spread bet positions,
as they are very helpful for me in tax terms, but i don’t want to pay DFB
funding costs unless i’m actively trading something. ( e.g. with SMT, i
currently hold approximately 75% of my position in sept maturity s/bets,
whilst actively trading 25% position back & forth in DFB spread bets.)

(… but not a fan of using s/bets to get very highly leveraged, that way lies
madness and ruin! - or at least sleepless nights, for ordinary folk like myself
who are neither especially lucky nor especially brilliant at day trading!)

no idea re short term moves … presumably that
should depends in part what the results are, lol?

short term too, depends a little if putin sends in the tanks big-time
(which seems fairly possible currently). longer term, i am long AZN.

i don’t believe that there are that many pis left out there who
are so gullible as to believe that trafigura is going to help fund
ADME in aje. i think osa & his pals need to find a new fairy tale.

ADME wouldn’t be so “cash strapped” if the BoD weren’t continually
extracting huge amounts of cash for their pay, perks & expenses that
are utterly disproportionate to the work they put in, & the awful lack of
value-adding outcomes for ordinary shareholders. it is not the fault of
shorters, TW, market manipulators etc. that the BoD are so greedy and
so inept (… e,g. not the fault of mythical shorters that DBI are a zero, or
that ADME failed to secure a marginal field, or that they failed to produce
a CPR for barracuda last summer as they said they would, etc, etc. - this
bunch just fail to deliver, over & over, but pay themselves handsomely for
continually failing their shareholders . the BoD haven’t failed themselves,
of course, since they continue to extract lots of money for themselves.

ADME doesn’t have “good assets”.

denzal, CTAG shares are not “suspended”.
