I think many would be happy with 3p.

My target is 2.5p and anything more is a bonus. Low expectations some may say lol but I prefer to be that way on aim given how it has a habit of disappointing. Then I can be happy as a pig in **** when we pass 2.5p lol

In my experience there will be multiple documents. The CP will be explicit for these documents, so the CP will need to be completed BUT not signed.
It is normal and good legal practice that all CPs are completed BUT all the paperwork is signed at the same time ie all contracts and associated documents to avoid any legal commitments becoming binding

You would have a “pack” and each document is engrossed as a collective not individually

IMO, there are multiple contracts, and the CPs relate to agreement of these “side contracts” which then fit into the overall main contract.

Once the side contracts are completed which are likely to include details associated (possibly) with third parties, they won’t be signed, as they will
Interlink into the main. All side contracts and indeed main contract is signed at the same time on the same day thus binding the overall contract and side contracts into one

This, imo, is why nothing was signed pending the CP (side contracts). As we would have had an RNS re signings which we didn’t have of course

There will be no “timeframe” I have dealt with CP in my own business. In normal circumstances you’ll get words to the effect “not unduly delayed” or “in a reasonable timeframe”. There would be a number of moving parts and third parties.
Very unusual to have a deadline, as you’d them need provisions for what happened if this deadline is missed (normally)

I think given DW “transformational” and the fact we had many competing for the assets, he clearly had a few to choose from so wasn’t likely cornered into one option (unless of course he was left with picking the best of a bad bunch), so anything other than back dated cash and free carry would be very disappointing

That said we haven’t drilled a single well, so regardless of data, it’s still a big risk, so will we really get a great deal at this stage of the game? Don’t know, hope so

Alternatively look at aaog and bloe, very different of course but they would be ripe for a FO as they have actually drilled a test well.

Time will tell of course, but I’m not thinking we will hear much end end of July personally. Anything sooner is a bonus
