I panicked on the bell yesterday at 9.75 and all day thought what a d1ck why did I do it! Gutted all last night...never sell on open! Didn’t expect to get back in today at 9.25 and 8.99.

Hoping over done and dust will settle, always felt early August to get the bonds away was a bit premature anyway

If you look on shorttracker it doesn’t even list aim companies to search for, so I wouldn’t read much into it and even they don’t list anything below 0.05%.
Mostly aim is shorted by retail investors, PIs. I don’t believe many II short aim stocks but I could be wrong of course

Lebugue, how do you know DW put a deadline in? Why not the bidder? It’s more likely any legal agreement would always go for a nominal date normally the last day of a month. Most contracts I deal with certainly do. Why would you put a mid month date, and pressure yourself? In my humble opinion the 31st is simply a nominal date inserted by the lawyers ie month end, also likely buying a bit of extra time if needed

Citytilidie, no, if you read my posts I made it explicitly clear that 3p plus would be POST drilling
I said the share would likely increase towards end of drilling and post successful results
My own predictions have been purely on announcement of FO

Smokin, you could say that yes. But we have to also temper expectations.
We only have so much to bargain with, oil in the ground. Like anything in life, it’s only worth the quality your selling.

We have the FO done, which is superb, the pessimist in me is just nervous of the terms and thinking illogical numbers normally leads to disappointment so I would rather temper my expectations on 2p, £120mil mcap (seems about right based on current data/reports/CPR and without drilling).
Successful drilling leading to revenue, that’s where the most gains will be but I think the magic 3p+ is optimistic

I highly doubt DW would be in the position to issue ultimatums as he knows he needs them now as much as they need us, he would also know anyone else IF still interested would take months to agree a new FO with costs associated. You’ve got someone on the hook, spent you own legal costs, imo you’d not rock the boat with an ultimatum

To me, it’s just the usual slow lawyer and government games, which in reality, since announcing preferred bidder hasn’t been that long in the grand scheme of things and these kind of deals

No one would part with half a million without some security hence the exclusivity. Imo it was the quickest and easiest way to suit both parties

I would also imagine they hoped to have the deal done by the time this cash was required and it would have likely formed part of the overall deal, but seeing as they haven’t completed the deal, o would imagine the $500k has just been re badged to suit the lawyers

If you’ve selected a preferred bidder, agreed terms, and only finer details and conditions precedent to agree I am sure DW would now have little interest in others, even if they were sniffing around (which I personally think is unlikely as this stage).
