Agree chesh, just feel bonds away is a huge factor to de risk the project and is worth more than 15p, basically where we were before the crash! Good luck

Can I ask why people’s views are now 15-20p I’m getting the bonds away?

The unrisked value still surely remains circa 40p, nothing has changed since the broker notes a month ago in terms of expectations

It’s only the price that has fallen on sentiment of China/US.

Given 68p from memory once fully funded, I think if we get the bonds away around the 13-13.5% mark this will be a major re rate, not just 50-100%.

Red deer, spud 4th August, day 10 of 35
Heron, spud 19th July, drilled to 551m and put on standby (around 5th August) 40 day drill to TD 3,050m.

Heron;

Current depth 551m which on the basis of 16 days drilling from spud to halt seems very slow.
Assume drilling starts again over the weekend, we have a good 2500m to go
Based on say 70m per day in line with the TD and 40 day program I anticipate TD around w/c 16th September

I have also spoken with the company this morning and have been asked to email the chap I spoke with personally after explaining why there was no halt last time and ASX is still not trading

I am hoping he will email me back and I will advise here. He gave me his personal email rather the company so I believe they are going to advise

There must be a bigger picture, as trading would resume on ASX.

Normally the RNS - ANN would also tell you “trading will now resume”.

Expecting closer to £2 tho on run up to Joe results imo

I am amazed at a 100% rise on 30% more on the cooper plus options for last 20%

That didn’t need a trading halt as it wasn’t suspended on the first 49% odd!

One thing I also note is many stocks that get suspended just tend to say “suspended pending an announcement”.

The fact OEX have actually added the reason “The trading halt is requested pending an announcement by Oilex in relation to a proposed acquisition“ coupled with a near on 100% rise, leads me to believe whatever it is, it’s good.

Bad news would just be “pending announcement”. That’s it. We actually know what it’s about
