Hi All. Interesting debate on the future of OUR Co, but i see no T/O happening until the market knows whats down there.
Having studied the COT report for trading up to last Tuesday it is clear to see that the bullion banks are finding it impossible to wind down their short position and their attempts to drive the price lower has resulted in a net gain to their shorts of 3707 contracts. This is not a massive addition but is totally in the wrong direction for them. For their silver position they have managed to lower their shorts by 1500 contracts. With only three months left to clean up their short positions prior to the new regs being implemented in the UK the LBMA will try all avenues to square the books, so expect a very exciting run up to the new year. Some insiders have speculated a total short position of $450billion in the paper gold market, they will not want to close at a loss, so pressure will be added to the downside with the banks using news and recommendations to sell gold. I am all in with physical gold and GGP stock but any one with spare cash should use this opportunity to take a position in the PMs space. ATB Speedy

Hi Maxwell. Having been a regular buyer at Uk property auctions i know what the effects of a bidding war can achieve for a seller. With so much cash sloshing around in the mining space an acceptable price being offered is possible. ATB Speedy

Hi Starbright. The new regs are in force around the world from 1st Jan 2021 apart from the UK. The LBMA is 10 times greater than the COMEX and carry enough weight to arrange for a delay in the implementation, the date set for the UK is 1st Jan 2022 after that date all trades must be covered with liquid assets. To say the USA retail market is massive should be followed by the statement that it is insignificant compared to the eastern nations. To state that the changes result in a lower PMs price is also a possibility due to a lack of liquidity supplied by the present set up but a market priced by supply and demand will find a true price and all pointers, without exception, say higher. We will not know the outcome of this game changing event until it happens but for me any change that strangles the manipulation is welcome. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Good debate about the future of OUR Co. I for 1 would not accept an offer now, too many unknowns. The only problem i see is that at the moment we have no income and the financial world is a dog eat dog space. When there is $billions at stake players such as JPM will corrupt the game to suit their profits. With no income and corrupt bankers it may be a possibility that we are maneuvered into a position where we are wide open to a low ball offer that we will not be able to refuse. This is a highly unlikely outcome, but a possibility. ATB Speedy

Hi All. First of all thanks hydro for a great post.
Yesterday a poster asked "what is Basel111". So many posts i cannot remember the posters name. Here is my interpretation of these new regs that must be conformed to no later than 2nd Jan 2022. The new regs are being put into place (some say the BIS has been forced to by China and Russia) to reign in the $trillions derivative market and prevent a melt down due to counterparty risk. At the moment trading desks can leverage their positions by 100s%. If the trade goes against them and they default due to lack of funds the loss is passed on (counterparty risk) Basel111 demands traders have sufficient liquid funds available to cover potential losses. These regs are not specifically aimed at the PMs market but it will have a significant effect on it. It will be unprofitable to naked short, or long, the PMs market and paper trading will be reduced to such an extent that the manipulations will cease (hopefully). With the COMEX and the LBMA basically redundant the PMs market will revert to supply and demand pricing and (in my view) rerate much, much, higher. As this date draws near volatility will escalate with a gradual increase in price and as the new year dawns we should see prices above $2000/oz and rising. Unless Bitcoin takes over and gold is relegated to wedding rings only. The last sentence is tongue in cheek.
This is my interpretation and i would love to hear others perspective on what is a very complicated topic. ATB Speedy

With the USA deficit spending of $3trillion/year and rising, the fed sucking up so much excess cash (reverse repro), off shore dumping of the $, higher interest rates in a falling economy, inflation built in for the foreseeable future, the $ and all connected fiat currencies are in for a very hard time. Hi Tymers. JPM probably take as much notice of me as i do of them, zilch. Your perfect timing selling gold and buying BItcoin could easily have gone the other way and was a pure gamble. I aim for peace of mind and am not risk on. I care not one jot if bitcoin goes to the heavens or hell. I will stick with my physical PMs and related mining stocks. I will sell all my gold only when interest rated raise above inflation and it will all go into the busted market of residential housing. I like to sleep at night. Speedy

Hi Khrysos. Just read your 07:02 post. The fact that JPM say "sell gold buy Bitcoin" means "sell Bitcoin buy gold". Readers here know my opinion of JPM. The criminals in that Co are responsible for massive market corruption. ATB Speedy

Hi All. What we experienced today is small compared to what is coming. Inflation leading to hyperinflation can only be opposed with higher interest rates. Problem. World debt cannot handle higher rates. As a token gesture a small increase in rates is possible but this will still leave a negative real rate and a massive fall in equity and financial markets. The rush into real assets/commodities will stoke the flames of inflation even higher. I have said this many times here that owning physical gold and related stock is an absolute must if you want to protect yourself and your family. When, not if, the POG goes parabolic our SP will reflect that rise by a ratio of at lest 4:1. 2021 is probably your last chance to obtain physical gold and GGP stock at a cheap price. Hi all. This is just the beginning, with so much more news due soon. Our SP has been subject to a huge retracement and is due a fight back. With the expected "fair value " in the POG coming in the new year i see new highs for GGP in 2022. As for bathing in champers i well may be swimming. ATB Speedy

Hi All. We all know whats there all due to the great posters here. I also assume all the experts around in the gold mining space know whats there. One as to wonder why our SP does not reflect that knowledge. My feelings are that in the not too distant future there will be a rush into our Co and todays SP will be seen as an absolute gift.
