The bullion banks have been making a killing in the PMs space for many years, using various tricks (legal and illegal) They have nearly always taken the short bet and this approach has worked well up to now. Physical buying is massive across the globe and the paper trading on COMEX and LBMA is becoming less and less effective and now the banks are in a hole they can not get out of. ATB Speedy

Hi All. There are some serious attempts to disrupt this BB. I am sure SB and SD know what they are doing and are not throwing $millions at a loss.
My last post mentioned the coming drop in the POG from $1900/oz. The banks must have had a poopy pants moment with $60billion short and decided to shake the tree a bit earlier yesterday and engineered a $60 drop (i expected a bit more).No matter what the banks do their short position is untenable and they are looking at a large loss with their present position as the POG steams past $2000 on the way even higher. Our asset just keeps on getting better and better. ATB Speedy

Hi All. A pleasant read today, apart from goldinthemthere. So many ideas on SD decision, i think its best to let him explain soon. SAS bought uo a good point re interest rates. No good having a $50mil loan on a variable rate if the rate goes up to beat inflation.
The banks have increased their shorts to a record $60bill on COMEX so be careful of a pullback off of $1900/oz as i think it will be substantial. Having said that i still stick to my prediction of $2300/oz by end Feb 2022. If the BOE had the balls to reign in the LBMA and adhere to Basel111 my prediction would have been higher. ATB Speedy

My mixed feelings stem from the fact that my present holdings are down on what they were and the fact that i have £100k coming in a week or so to top up at these low prices. Hi All. Now we all know what this downturn in the SP was all about. Never in a million years did i expect to be able the buy in at 14p. I personally have no funds at the mo to participate but those that do i suggest you use this opportunity to grab with both hands. I think SD could have done this better but what do you expect from a finance man? We all know where this is headed, much much higher. ATB Speedy

Hi Toansy. No attack but i must put you right. Manipulation on a stock that will be worth £billions is not a conspiracy theory it is a proven fact. There are many many instances throughout the market of manipulation by the big players to get what they want. When there is £billions at stake they take no prisoners. Also there are many well researched posters on here that give a true and honest appraisal of where we are headed, ignore them at your peril. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Good debate, here is my 2 penneth. We are a gold explorer/producer( to be). With the present state of the worlds economy i see a massive rush into gold in the not too distant future, it will only take a small 1or2% shift from equities/bonds etc into the gold space to make shares in Cos such as ours sky rocket. Present valuations are worked out with what is known today. The risk in topping up today depends on how much gold we continue to find and the price of that gold. The thought that topping up now would make the ROI not good enough for LTHs is misjudged when forward looking to what i am convinced is coming. Homestake Mining rose from 60 to 600 in a few years back in the 1930s whos to say GGP will not better that. That would take Tymers prediction to £8.80p. This is not blatant ramping it is a possibility when the rush into the PMs space happens. ATB Speedy

Hi Hawkspear. Be careful what you wish for. The blatant lying by govs around the world put inflation at 4 to 5%/yr when anyone that spends money knows its nearer to shadow stats fig of 15%. With the POG being controlled now and into the forseeable future all investors will need to double their pot every 5 years just to stay still. Gold will not get more expensive it is just the $£ getting weaker. ATB Speedy

Hi Tymers. If gold was allowed to find a true price the profits to you and i (gold investors) would increase along with the profits of miners. The proven manipulation in the PMs space has cost the whole industry $billions. ATB Spwedy
