Hi All. At one of the Stag meets someone asked me when i would sell up, i said "if JPM get in Speedy is out". At the moment we are not involved with JPM for finance or advice. I will not let them break my resolve with their shorts. JPM are stamping all over the worlds markets using criminal tactics (insider trading and market manipulation). Their muscle is over and above all govs and regulators.
JPMs and their slaves want your GGP stock for reasons that are not yet clear, apart from great profit. How they attain that profit, and how much that profit is, is down to you as GGP share holders. Weak hands will capitulate and the informed will reap massive rewards. This is not IMO but real world. Stay strong. ATB Speedy

Hi Ace. You say "most of us have got it wrong along the way" I have stated here many times my thoughts on the POG. Never in my 50 years of gold investing have i ever seen such a distorted pricing in the market. In inflation terms Gold is now as cheap as it has ever been. I fully expected the POG to be well above $2000/oz by now and yet here we sit at $1730ish. Have i "got it wrong" or is the market wrong. Very hard to call a future price on a market that is corrupted. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Not quite sure of exact shorting levels for GGP but for arguments sake lets say 20mill shares against a market cap of $350 mil. Silvercrest mining with a market cap of just under $1bill have a short of only 5mill shares . The level of shorts against GGP is/was high. This level of shorting is not common practice and there had to be a reason. If JPM did not have inside info that Newcrest would not take up the 5% i will eat my girlfriends cat. ATB Speedy

Hi All. This placing ensures we get debt financing in place. I am a tad disappointed at the 15% discount but that is what is. It will be interesting to see the details of the debt funding but i think the terms will be easy on us with the amount of collateral . We are now well on the way to becoming a miner. ATB Speedy

It is not a great amount in the scheme of things but JPM are seasoned traders and use the shorted shares to very good effect to sway sentiment and at the moment they seem to be doing a good job. At times like these it is good to go to GGPchat and look at Bamps posts about the size of Hav and consider what is going on in the geopolitical/financial world and understand why you are invested in a gold miner to be. Hi All. Open interest on COMEX has hit a new low with longs and shorts reducing positions. The last time it was this low saw the rise to +$2000/oz. I am not sure why the positions are so low but i suspect the liquidity providers are reluctant to supply physical (traders standing for delivery as opposed to settling in cash) at such a low value. Will we see a run up in the POG this time? With Russia and China acquiring 40000tons between them i fully expect to see a POG in excess of $2000 by year end and $2500 in 2023. ATB Speedy

Hi Jerry. Good post, as always. My libor + 10% was a tad OTT but who really knows how high inflation and the market will take interest rates. Even 5% will see us paying 13% on the loan. Best to get rid of the debt as soon as pos and re finance at better terms. ATB Speedy
