Caterham, may I add my thoughts and sympathy for what must have been one horrendous crash. Your deeply knowledgeable posts have contributed to educating this illiterate on the fascinating geology of the Gurceif Graben, and by extension, the North Sea. All the very best for a swift and full recovery.
And here's a thought. GRH first mentioned Leviathan a couple of years ago. MEM also referenced it a little later. What a fantastic name for a huge gas discovery.
But here's the thing.
Just a few weeks ago, in a Predator RNS, I read for the first time the word TITANOSAURUS.
A fraction of a milli second later I silently mouthed the word WOW.
And a slight curl of the lips - which for me passes as a wide smile - twisted my mouth.
If Paul and Lonny and Moyra believed MOU-NE needed a new name, Roget's Thesaurus contains thousands of possilities.
They have chosen TITANOSAURUS.
I allowed myself the slightest of smiles when I read the name, because to me, it said it all.
Would this trio of vastly experienced and highly respected people in their field have gone for such an evocative and powerful name if they had any doubts about what that prospect holds?
I think not.
It has been a long, long road. But I believe we are now in the calm before the storm.
To all those who have held the line, and to all those who have arrived more recently, good luck.
And to Lonny Moyra Paul and the rig crew, safe drilling.
Because when TITANOSAURUS roars it will be heard in the four corners of the O&G world.
Paul, Lonny, Moyra, and the Rig Crew of Star Valley 101.
Vindication. A job well done. A sincere thank you from myself, and I'm sure all shareholders.
GRH, Keith, Jimmy, Methodology, Caterham and all other contributors - as above.
GRH, Fordy, I have one corner of one sedan chair to carry, booked when you first floated the plan. I will be there.
All bets are off. The race to the finish. All the best.
A genuine "Thank You" to you guys, AND TO ALL THE OTHERS who make this such an interesting, informative, incisive and humorous BB.
Thanks also to Seven Dragons for the heads up on Paul Erdman
Sefton, the striking thing about the dams raid in 1943 was that Barnes Wallis, the genius who conceived the operation and designed the bouncing bomb, hoped that one bomb would smash the Moehne Dam. He was deeply concerned about the seven young aircrew flying each bomber at extreme low level - just sixty feet above the water. Nine aircraft out of nineteen failed to return. One hundred and thirty three aircrew lost.
But they succeeded in what they set out to do. A textbook example of what can be achieved when you have knowledge, belief, courage, conviction, and the precise tools to do the job.
Predator, to me, is an obvious parallel. Cometh the hour.
All the very best to ALL
Morning Gals, Guys, and others
Sometimes when I catch up with what has been discussed on this excellent BB I really think there are in fact two parallel universes that violently collide at this place.
There is the universe inhabited by those who use advanced investment terminology such as "lottery", "gamble", "bet", and "pipedream", to describe Predator. This universe chooses to ignore INDEPENDENT CPR reports from back in 2012 to as recently as January 2022, increasingly positive analysis from world leading Nu Tech, and quite obviously has no understanding at all of the geology of the Guercif Graben. This universe appears ignorant of the history of the PRD licence area, where 2000 barrels of oil a day were being recovered back in the 1920's, and there are clear signs of seepage of oil and gas AT THE SURFACE. (Thanks Keith et al). This universe also delights in disparaging PG's over 40 years experience and successful track record in finding gas. It then devotes the rest of its valuable time to virulently insulting GRH at any opportunity. This universe quite clearly has an agenda.
And then there is the universe the vast majority of us live in, where we interrogate the available information, research, reports and data, carry on the search way outside the box, and reach our own conclusions as to PRD's future. Put simply, "That is why we are here".
Last week GRH alluded to SDX NOT having Star Valley 101. On Thursday this observation was confirmed by Voskos, on receipt of an email from Star Valley. I too received a response, probably identical, from Star Valley on Thursday, and I was struck by three points.
1) The email unequivocally stated "not drilling with SDX" and "looking forward to working of (sic) Predator IN THE NEAR FUTURE ( my emphasis).
2) The text ended with an ! (exclamation mark).
3) The signature was Matt Charron, General Manager, Star Valley Drilling.
So, in our REAL universe, we have Star Valley 101 champing at the bit to get working, we have a completed well pad, (RNS 19 July), we have cash for the drill and subsequent testing (latest placement). So it would seem we are now only awaiting well inventory.
Whether it's one month, or two, very soon the drill will be in the ground at MOU 2.
PG and Lonny have worked incredibly hard to get this micro company to this point. They, we, are on the cusp of something big, really big. MOU 2 alone will not prove up the licence in its entirety. But it will be the end of the beginning. And as GRH has bashed relentlessly on about, our BOD have decided on a path where PRD retains full 75% field equity. In MY universe, these guys, PG and Lonny, know exactly what they are doing. And they have the courage of their conviction.
And Metallica? "Nothing Else Matters". Probably James Hetfields only ballad. Check out the lyrics.
The relevant line for PG/Lonny and the Real Universe?

Morning
Look around us guys and gals (with a sad, wry nod to Barry MacGuire)
The World today is on the cusp of a future-defining Energy Inflection Point.
The next few months leading into northern hemisphere Winter will see governments around the globe taking momentous decisions that would have been unthinkable even six months ago.
There has started a frantic, undeclared, below the radar, headlong race back to fossil fuels from governments who for a decade have been tripping over themselves to paint themselves holier-than-thou green when it came to energy.
Putin's war has seemingly been the catalyst. But fossil fuels have been dirty words for many years before his vicious attempt to regain the Russian Empire of the Tsars. Years of under investment in Oil and Gas exploration and production has come back to bite the complacent, the short sighted, and incompetent political elites who "guided" their countries fortunes into the coming maelstrom.
I believe in the Energy transition. It is how I came across Predator, via the T&T CCS EOR.
Through vision, ambition, experience and belief, PG, and latterly Lonny, have positioned PRD to capitalise on the repeated policy mistakes and failings of governments of all colours and persuasions.
PG set up three quite diverse projects. In three geographically diverse, stable jurisdictions. At a time when these projects were decidedly unfashionable. A major reason I believe the "market" has so consistently under-valued Predator.
And now PG's time has come. And Lonny's, who had the foresight to join PG. And the loyal shareholders of PRD . We know not if it will be the next few days, or the next few weeks, but as the global energy crisis continues to build to catastrophic proportions, the winds of change are relentlessly gathering behind Predator. And very soon the storm will break, bringing with it a hurricane of news.
From Guercif first? Or Ireland? Or the quiet, sultry gal in the corner, T&T?
All the very best to everyone. Be patient. Hold fast. Hold the line
That's a beaut Keith- Big Respect to Mrs Oz :-)
GLA
Morning Gals and Guys
Freedom, at it's heart, is being free to be who we are. All on this board are free to invest in PRD, or not. But why use that hard-won freedom to viciously attack GRH, with frankly some very nasty comments?
When I read GRH and other very knowledgeable posters I don't see bragging. I read experience, knowledge, research and successful track record, over many decades. I am very grateful to, and very respectful of, people who know more about a subject than I do, AND ARE PREPARED TO SHARE their hard won knowledge.
I then do MY OWN research and reach my own conclusions. And lay my money down. Or not.
If there are posters with whom you disagree, engage in disciplined argument. Failing that, place them nicely in the bin.
So where are we PRD shareholders today? The futures bright.
In Ireland the winds of change are finally starting to stir (ref Keith's posts yesterday quoting officials from within the DECC) .
I still can't see why some think this is a pipedream. To me PRD's FSRU, Corrib South and Ram Head solutions are all obvious go-to's for an Irish government that has been in denial for far too long, and soon will have no choice. The final piece of info requested for Corrib South and Ram Head was acknowledged as received on 19 April. Good news is coming
In Trinidad, the second half has started and PRD are right in the maul with everything to play for. So much legacy heavy oil to move, so much monopolised CO2 available, and PRD's Proof of Concept front and centre for Minister Young to encourage, cajole and incentivise producers with. Good news is coming
And Guercif. All the talk about JV negotiations failing, partners walking away, delays in drilling, is just noise. The drilling campaign WILL be funded for two very basic reasons. First, it is not a lot of money, £10m for three wells (compare with Anchois) and second, the WORLD needs Gas and Oil desperately ( Lancy's posts this morning) and ONHYM ain't gonna let this enormous potential slide for want of £10m.
So, we might get positive financial news in two weeks time, or eight weeks time. Or it might be Wednesday of next week. It will come. My belief is sooner rather than later. PG and Lonny are on it.
The message from all this?
In strategic terms PRD has reached the end of the beginning. Everything is now poised for the final 12-18 months to monetization. Have patience. The rewards will come.
A final thought for those who feel the need to get personal on this forum. Read "If" again. Look long and hard in the mirror. Think about the Ukrainian soldier, right now, prepared to die for her, her families, and her country's freedom. And then really reflect on what you are about to post regarding a micro-cap on a rocky, tumultuous and epic journey.
I know at least one person objects to this final phrase. I make no apology. It's a moral I stand by.
Hold the line.
GRH
Yes, bad syntax, I have always been aware the Sedan Chair was not for your good self, and apologies if I may have mislead anyone on that point.

Freedom, in my opinion, is the most basic of human instincts after survival itself.
Freedom of Thought and Freedom of Expression are central to the overall concept.
I absolutely and unequivocally support the expression of any opinion, while absolutely reserving the right to disagree. So here is an observation, based on events surrounding PRD share price over the last two weeks.
On 25th April, ANZAC Day, MEM informed this discussion board, in a lengthy, interesting post that he had sold down more than half his PRD shares to pursue other interests in the hope of making a reasonable return to reinvest in PRD at some future date. I THINK he believes a placing is due. Fair enough.
The SP started it's slide from 12.25p the next morning. A multi-sided war of words ensued, culminating in MEM departing the forum last week under the heading "Enough". I felt the door slam way down here in Dover.
The SP continued to slide, on no news, bottoming at 8.85 at Friday close.
Psychology at work.
Then, Sunday evening, Methodology finalised his latest Magnum Opus and posted to Reddit.
Methodology took the time to gather a host of open source information and document it in easy to read format, to remind existing shareholders of why they are here, and new people of the potential upside of this £27m MCap company. Together with GRH's Michael Caine, these are surely the definitive documents for required reading for anyone interested in owning a share of Guercif.
The timeline with regard to Guercif as set out by Methodology is clear. It is also clear that the timeline has slipped from the September 2021 RNS. There are very good reasons for that.
As mentioned in a previous post EVERYTHING CHANGED ON 24 FEBRUARY 2022.
I think some people, including many politicians around the world, are still unaware of just how transformational (I like that word)and far reaching the effects of Putin's aggression will be. Some of them frequent this discussion board, dismissing PRD's Ireland projects as "pipedreams" despite Nic's and others daily updates of just how dire Irelands energy situation really is. Really.
So the Guercif timeline has slipped but news cannot be far away. The enigmatic CUBE, among her many cryptic comments, mentioned 18 May as a date to play with, and not long ago suggested Predator would reveal teeth and claws in June. She quite rightly suggested we pull our knickers up.
As many have said over the last two weeks: the geology is still there in Guercif, the contingent gas is still there. MOU 4,5 and NE are still there. I believe funding will be finalised shortly, and news will come very soon and these days will be forgotten as optimism once again sweeps away the doubters and the trolls.
Remember ONHYM are in the frame. As is Morocco's future. I look forward to carrying the GRH Sedan Chair. I hope to still get an invite to MEM's big bash. And I ask everyone to continue to be civil to each other on this many-opinioned and incr
Now THAT was some POWERFUL post GRH.
Thank you.
A last thought. All on this board - please refrain from vicious personal attacks, name calling, and using words like re tard. Look around. There are bigger things happening.

Spectre
Well here we are.
In the course of just eighteen days the arc of future world history, today, next week, next year, and probably at least the next two decades has irrevocably changed.
Mid February the West was as usual deep in navel-gazing, discussing gender, cancel culture, climate change, a zero carbon future, self-loathing of our past, Sleepy Joe and party-gate.
Governments, virtue signallers, and keyboard warriors everywhere in the liberal democracies were reaching a shrill crescendo of screeching to make it absolutely clear to the world that Gas and the "O" word were dirty and loathsome, and any multi national company that continued to explore, invest, or worst of all look to develop these relics of a bygone era, were utterly beneath contempt.
And then came war.
Spare a thought for a moment for the people of Ukraine. I mean actually think about them. Also for the innocent people of Russia. They did not want a war. Yet the Russian economy will be crushed for as long as Putin continues to wage his indecent war of brutality and inhumanity.
So here we are. The west, and it's allies and partners across the globe are as united as they have been for over three decades. Most importantly, for the people of Ukraine, and for all of us, the immense economic and financial power of the democracies is finally being brought to bear on the perpetrator of the war. For years it has been fashionable to talk down our democracy, to hold ourselves responsible for all the ills of the world, to revel in the decline of the West. Now it is war. Everything has changed. A revitalized NATO stands strong. And every one of the democracies is looking to it's future Energy supply, and critically, the SECURITY of that Energy supply. Even the Irish government seem to have lifted their heads out of the sand. The EU is committed to reduce Russian gas by two thirds by the end of the year, off Russian gas completely in five years. What a complete turnaround. In less than three weeks.
Many posters have spelled it out over the last eighteen days.
Forgive me for doing so again.
Today, Predator sits on assets in Morocco, Ireland, and Trinidad and Tobago, that are worth many many multiples of what they were at the end of February. The sp then was circa 10p, today only a little higher. The "market" hasn't got it yet. But it will.
PG and Lonny are on it. Finance - not a problem. News will come. And I believe it will be big news.
In closing
GRH - I volunteer to carry a corner of one of the Sedan Chairs
Sefton, thank you for the many times you have given a thought to my daughters safety. It is deeply appreciated and I am told to inform you morale is exceptionally high across the two British battlegroups in Estonia
Hopefully peace will prevail in Ukraine soon. But Cold War II has started

Sincere thanks to Lonny and everyone on this board who has expressed their kind thoughts to our guys and gals in the British led NATO Battlegroup in Estonia. it's snowing there, but the good news is the Royal Welsh Battlegroup is on it's way to reinforce them. Full scale War in Europe. Who would have believed this thirty years ago when the Cold War ended?
No, the Balkans of the nineties do not compare with what Putin unilaterally has unleashed.
As MEM said, spare a thought this morning for the people of Ukraine, also for those of the Baltic States (I have a daughter with the Battlegroup there), and Russia itself. They didn't want a war.
Also spare a moment to think of the wider ramifications, the bigger picture. Far from humiliating the West, Mr Putin has now succeeded in uniting its dysfunctional parts in two ways that seemed out of reach just a month ago - NATO and .....ENERGY.
It is ENERGY that has brought us to invest in Predator, and our belief in PG and Lonny and the massive potential of the Guercif graben, and offshore Ireland, and CCS/EOR, that keep us here.
Thanks to Mr Putin the geopolitical future of Europe is now going to be very, very different. The EU only recently backtracked to label GAS a green transition priority. Mr Scholz's decision to now bin Nordstream 2 is a deeply symbolic gesture. It won't be tomorrow, but very soon every possible alternate source of gas is going to be of major importance to the West and it's friends, allies, and partners. And those new sources WILL be developed.
Which brings us to fundamentals.
Contingent resources Guercif valued conservatively $595 million, CPR January 2022.
MOU4, 5, and NE to come, just a small fraction of the 7000+ square kilometre licence area.
Ram Head best estimate over 1TCF of gas CPR 2018. Corrib South.
FSRU project Ireland estimated by energy researcher at University of Cork to be worth 26 Billion euros over 10 years.
NO DEBT
Directors' holding large percentage of shares circa 20%.
And yet the SP is 10p. MC30m. I'll leave it to GRH to point out the EV.
Whatever the outcome in Ukraine, and we can only hope someone can talk sense to Mr Putin very soon, the investing landscape in the global energy field has changed. And we are in the right place.
Earlier today F&M reckoned three months or so for patience to be rewarded here, re Morocco.
The CUBE last week even gave us a date - 20th May I think?
MEM has often pointed us to the Time delta.
I believe these guys to be right.
As the world stockmarkets splash blood red this morning remember why you invested in Predator. Despite Mr Putins actions the fundamentals have not changed. But the geopolitical imperatives have.
Read IF again if you need to steady the nerves.
And once again a very big thank you to ALL the posters who bring their knowledge, research, insights and opinions to this outstanding bulletin board.
Hold the line.
Ho55. You asked for an answer to Zeus's quite valid question.
Sorry I'm not a big hitter. But I believe I know what's going on with PRD over the next 18-24 months. So here's my answer.
I disagree with Zeus, because I don't reckon it's a simple binary choice. IMO bad test at MOU1 does not automatically lead to capital raise.
Zeus mentions "potential" as if it's a not very sound reason to stay invested - I thought that's what investing in small companies was all about.
The SP is currently .490p with a m/c of £14mil.
I think we are all agreed the "potential" upside is many multiples of both - our individual mileage may vary on just how much, but we wouldn't be here if we didn't think that to be the case.
Everyone here made the decision to invest in PRD. So surely we now sit it out in the expectation of big potential, rather than head for the door because real life doesn't give us all the answers we want, when we want them?
I will speak only for myself, there are MANY on here who have forgotten more than I will ever learn about many things, including PRD. But for me the knowledge I have gained about the geology of Morocco, Guercif in particular, and the existing and future energy needs of Ireland and possible solutions for those needs, together with the historical backstory of Paul Griffiths and how and why he created PRD, point me to only one way forward. See it through to the end.
If a capital raise is needed in order to release total value in 12 - 24 months? So what?
I am here for the big final prize, not the SP on any given day, or even to have a discussion with a knowledgeable poster .
That is why I invested in PRD. For the whole ride. As I said in my previous post, if PRD goes down, I go with it and lose my investment. If PRD makes it big - as I believe it has the potential to do - my families life will be transformed, and I will be able to give up the 12 hour shifts.
Investing is a risk. Life is a risk. Doing nothing is a risk. Overthinking CAN be a risk.
I'll close by being blunt. Sefton referred to it many moons ago. Zeus has asked for yes or no answers to his question. I've given him mine.
I would respectfully ask that everyone who reads this particular post answer my yes or no question. For their own clarity of mind.
Rudyard Kipling wrote a poem called "If". Easy to find on the web. Please take the time to read it. Then read it again. Then look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself - "Should I really be invested in PRD?" Answers on a postcard please :-)
May I wish you ALL a very very happy Christmas, remain healthy, and I hope 2022 brings you at least some of what you are prepared to take a risk for. All the best.
Read the RNS twice.
Informative and positive, looking to early monetize MOU 1. New CPR and webinar early 2022.
For those negative posters this morning, and over the last six months, why ARE you here?
Surely if you don't rate the prospects of Morocco, you believe Ireland to be a "pipedream", and you don't have the stomach for the fight that is "red in tooth and claw" (not sure which regular poster may have used that phrase before :) then you have been here too long, it is surely time for you to leave us misguided fools and join a Tracker Fund?
I left school at fifteen with no academic qualifications. But I can read. It never fails to amaze me that following a PRD RNS the negatives make a lot of noise about the words that are NOT in the communique, rather that reading and truly absorbing and assimilating the actual contents.
Do the negs not recognise PG is a man who is flexible, thinks laterally, switches negatives (Covid, SDX drilling probs) into positives, always looking to move forward, just not necessarily in the way the herd thinks he should?
Potentially the Moroccan prize is huge. For PRD, and for the Kingdom of Morocco.
Potentially the Ireland prize is huge. For PRD, and for the Republic of Ireland.
If both should fail completely I will have lost my investment. But I have done my due diligence, I have benefited greatly from all the brilliant research done by so many posters on this board, and I believe the opposite to be the case. I believe that shareholders in PRD through the difficult days of the last couple of years will be rewarded for their steadfast and resolute belief in PG and the company and it's prospects, despite the doom merchants relentless misery.
So I ask again, to those who see little future for this excellent, far-sighted, well-lead minnow of a company:
WHY ARE YOU HERE?
And to those who continue to believe in the project, whose hard earned money has been so carefully used by PG to get to the very cusp of great things:
HOLD THE LINE.
Have a good day.
Good morning
Just caught up on three weeks worth of posts (I work 12 hour shifts)
Thought I'd make two brief comments before hitting the hay.
GRH : your Schumacher observation is spot on - as is most, if not all, of what you post. Your sometimes cryptic and teasingly detailed posts are always a spur to learn more, about Predator, and E&D, and geology. Unfortunately there are some nasty people who raise their distasteful heads on this board to attack you personally, when it is blatantly obvious, thanks to BeetleboyPRD's continued challenges, that their knowledge in this sphere is nil, nix, nada, f-all, and all they are trying to do is discredit you.
I am sure I speak for many genuine stock holders. The trolls have failed, and will continue to fail dismally to discredit you.
Sefton - I'd like to sincerely thank you for holding the line, for repeatedly challenging the trolls, and for encouraging all the decent knowledgeable researchers to keep sharing the benefits of their work with people such as me, who don't have the time or the necessary background/skillsets to carry out the detective work that has uncovered PRD's enormous potential. You have stepped up repeatedly, been insulted personally, and refused to take a backwards step with the cowardly faceless bully's with their sad agenda's.
What makes a Black Belt martial artist different? He/She did not give up.
All the best to all genuine Predator shareholders.
Methodology
Thank you for taking the time and effort to research and bring together the various facets of the MOU 1 drill in such a clear fashion. Highly recommended, indeed ESSENTIAL, reading for anyone genuinely interested in Predator.
Porosity x Permeability x Charge
It is much appreciated.
All the best everyone.
Thanks for that really interesting post Seabright.
Matelot - After two years reading this board I started with the filter just four weeks ago, following the mass attack of ignorant and/or paid bashers post 6 July RNS.
I now have a tally of 11 safely ranting to each other in there.
Is this a record?
All the best everyone
