What this says to me, is that GSCU is scaling its exploration potential to present itself as a large enough target for one of the majors in 18-24 months

Jim said that the use of consultants gave flexibility and their use could be switched off in line with a projects completion. Can’t see significant cost savings here when you consider NI etc, and we already know the existing board is paid £70k less than the salary of their proposed replacements. That’s without the further 6% dilution from two lots of 3% share options requested. Jim and Pete seem really genuine scientists delivering the pipeline of hyper complex scientific projects. With repeat contracts built on the integrity of the offer, and knowledgable Team delivery. What the same scientific customer base will make of a new style of Director is anyone’s guess. To give this a serious push up we need new investors on board. Most of us here are fully committed, although I will buy more when funds allow. Word needs to get out that we have such serious opportunities.

A compromise agreement is the logical path. Replacing the whole board with Directors who split their time between several companies won’t end well. The roles demand full time. Especially when they know nothing about the science or the technology. How will they be able to pitch to scientists and remain creditable? Their buzz words will be ‘can I get back to you on that’

I believe a compromise is the best solution as this would keep a board knowledgeable in the science, essential when engaging existing or prospective clients. A replacement board would inevitably prove costly and how much time would they truly dedicate to the Company with their other commitments? Nick would divide his time between ECR and MH and PHY. A part timer, but be rest assured on full remuneration being received from each. No time-share directors for me

I have emailed Jim Millen to see if further compromises can be made that allows the Company to retain the board/client relationships and as importantly ensure that the ongoing proof of concepts get over the line. I see a huge and costly disruption coming down the tracks if the board is ousted. If this can be avoided it is worth trying. I will update everyone if or when he responds. This will rely however on both sides having a degree of flexibility

With many complaining about the cost of consultants, just think how many consultants the proposed board will need when they know nothing about the science. This is a head down moment for the existing board to concentrate on bringing trials and proof of concepts over the line

I don’t buy this, completely contrived. The share price is inextricably linked to revenues, which are growing. The trajectory is upward and looking good. If the Doc and Tulloch are so confident, why don’t they publish a detailed business plan? How will they double or treble turnover when they know nothing about the business? How will they talk to scientist customers about the technology? What are the challenges the customers need a solution for? Capital markets experience won’t cut the mustard here. No capital market experience can cover for when revenues tank

Like so many R&D and innovation businesses the road to commercialisation takes far longer and costs far more than investors think. This leads to hostility and resentment. AIM is littered with many and I have invested in some. However there comes an inflection point when contracts are being won, contracts renewed and adoption is through word of mouth as the service becomes the gold standard. Integrity in the science. We are at one of those points. No time for a coup, too dangerous. Can someone practically demonstrate the wonderful business building track record of the proposed replacement board?

This small business is all about scientists engaging with research scientists to forge relationships, and encourage adoption by new clients. The clients or perspectives clients, scientists, will find it alien to deal with business people. They don’t speak the same language and relationships will fail. This is a small but growing business, however it isn’t large enough to have employed staff ready to assist any new management team to try and salvage commercial ties. This is a potentially company ending event. Could it be that the new team plan to seize the company, dismantle it and have a back room buyer for the IP lined up?

Yep I experienced Tulloch at Chill. Some are complaining about the cost of the current board and consultants, well you have seen nothing yet. Be warned what you vote for
