Without a company announcement through RNS this is only a rumour. BPZc might be close to a deal as if signed they had to update. Hopefully there will be one in the next few days before we go back to sub 2.

I know it is too early but this is one reason that there might be a risk to wait for 60p and better to get out at 20p. What does he mean what do we do. They take some share or revenues through tax or will they try to claim a major chunk for themselves??? Any action by the government even if illegal will have a huge impact on the share price. Again this is one for the future and a lot has to happen before we get there but I don’t like it. Any views but not if you are only positive irrespective of facts!

Stock up 40%. BPC can only confirm a deal once signed. That can be the only reason for the silence. They will not be able to comment that they are close to a deal as if it does not go through it will come back at them. However a 40% move is positive if backed by huge volumes.

The government could have turned down the licenses. Irrespective of the consequences. BPC is not in a position to have sustained a long legal campaign. The fact that they agreed to the license extension at a time that they seem to have become more comfortable with drilling implies that BPC had provided them with comfort that they are close to a potential deal. This is why a deal needs to be announced within a quarter or the stock will retrace all gains. The news from Bethel is positive but the real big men be is only when the company confirms it. If confirmed then 6-8 within a week and will be interesting to see if any terms are made public to allow the market to value the upside. It does feel positive but if what Bethel has said is true then the stock needs to move to closer to 3 to force the company to Update the market if for some reason no RNS is forthcoming during that period.

Far above that. Given that many clowns thought it was going to 3 this week, and even bigger ones thought there was going to be a rights issue. Only when the master has proclaimed the upcoming events does it become clear and common sense. The Specialist is always happy to teach the less fortunate investors.

You are an amateur xciteless. As I said it will just oscillate and settle in its new trading range of 1.7-2. The same reason that it is not going to 3 it is not going through 1 either at the moment. The news on licenses warrants an uplift which now have had. It is not going down either but will bide time pending further developments. Next news can go either way but as I say d we know that and the risk yet rn is 0 or 20 and most of us decided that is a good punt that take at 1. I have said that some of the bulls are total amateurs here it you put them to shame on the bear side. Learn investing and what makes stock move - then comment. At the moment you sound like a complete novice who has lost everything and are looking for solace in failure.

This is a binary situation. 0 or 20 fold. Everyone invested knows it. So no farm in no money is an irrelevant comment as it is obviously true but those who hold the shares like the risk return for a potential deal. I have no idea why everyone gets heated here.

Very well articulated brynjon. They have at least 3 months to get a farm in deal before price comes back to 1 but there is no reason that a deal cannot happen sooner or even after that. It feels good now but sentiment can turn violently on the first bad news but it hopefully will not come to that.

Dilution is not a possibility currently while looking for a farm-in partner. Obviously sometime in the future anything can happen but no dilution in the event horizon. Should they go for a further issue at any time before a farm in agreement you can be sure that all majors have walked away and they are going down. Meanwhile there is a lot of ignorance here which is my duty as a SPECIALIST to rectify :)

PS. Correction today as expected. Anything around 20 % down and then we bounce tomorrow and stock will oscillate and will settle in its new trading range of 1.6-1.8 until further updates from the company. Please get the idea that we are going to 3 or anywhere up from here out of your minds until hopefully a deal is struck. I did provide the reasons in my generous free lesson plan I used last night.
