I seem to recall MR being asked about a potential dual listing (I think it might have been one of the questions in a Money Sponge / SmallCapPix session), I can't remember what his exact response was but for whatever reason he dismissed the idea.

Mike Ralston said a few years ago during an interview that in his opinion (being an African himself and knowing the continent quite well) he considers Uganda as one of the top jurisdictions to do business in (mainly due to 'sovereign risk' being much less troublesome than some other African countries), he listed the following countries that he also likes for similar reasons - Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda and Ghana.....I note that he didn't mention Mozambique! -

Yes you're right Computer, apologies, I was just going by what was said in the thread but after reading the prospectus it does state the exercise price as being 'of the par value' (which is 0.5 pence)....I believe it was thought that the 0.5p figures were typos (as 5 pence is also mentioned in the paragraph, but that is just in the context of giving an example of the equivalent dilution had the DFC grant not been awarded).

Computer, I think we established that there are no 0.5p warrants, rather 5 pence?.....as per Merchantbanker's comments under the thread headed 'Angst'.

He said something about not knowing what a good offer looks like at the moment, he suggested £20m isn't necessarily a 'low ball number' as it's almost double the value today, he said afterwards he wouldn't necessarily accent that offer tomorrow but it's important to put things into perspective (i.e. almost doubling value)....I was a bit surprised at this.

Yeah, there were no ifs or buts in terms of what he said about the DFS being out before the end of the calendar year!

Jam, I kind of agree with you, my impression wasn't great either, shame really as he's the only slight reservation I have.

CEO and COO seem like fantastic guys (don't know about the Chairman Pearce but he has a significant holding), strong support from Ugandan government, DFC etc....we seem to be on the cusp.

Scaffman, I thought I was alone in suffering that assault on the eyes, took some reading.

Their ramping is so outrageous I conclude they're doing it for a so called laugh / wind up......special needs carers must have let them out for the day unattended.

Not only do I like Mike R but I also like the COO Iain Wearing, he clearly isn't as comfortable as Mike speaking in front of the camera but comes across as very genuine (like Mike). He's also invested a significant amount in BRES recently, happy to wait patiently with huge expectations here.
