the system i grew up with of value, creating value, pe, yields, capital value, is dead, and our financial system is dying with it, and so is our living standards. real things no longer mean **** in tye west.

that's why i (and i bet you too) buy gold and gold stocks. the next few years will see western currency destruction not seen since the 1930s. gravity will eventually prevail, but it may not be quick. our governments and financial establishment seem perfectly happy at present to print cash, pump a handful of stocks and indices and pretend all is well while we here know fine well it isn't.

If we see a drop in production of raw ounces / gold Dore then something is off. They are stacking 48k tonnes of Ore ffs. That means the grades are miles off or they have leach heap commissioning issues. Or theft...

The CEO / BoD or Staff clearly read these boards, that's why the RNS in the fake licence scare was so quick.

So my suggestion to those reading is yoyr next RNS has to be crystal clear in what time period it relates to. Please make it a proper calendar month (1st to 30 April) so we know what progress to £1k per month is actually being made.

Show me 12, 6 month reports that back up your numbers and ill agree with you.

Quarterly reports with AISCs, cash on hand, etc, I'll agree with you.

It (might) be a going concern at the moment, we don't know as it's not been published.

A going concern is an accountancy concept.

The "going concern" concept in accounting is the fundamental assumption that an entity will continue to operate in the foreseeable future, typically defined as at least 12 months from the reporting date. It means that the business is not expected to liquidate or cease trading, but instead will continue its operations. This assumption is crucial for preparing financial statements that accurately reflect the business's ongoing financial health and future.

It could go either way here, spot on.

My own experiences on AIM is they won't starve themselves of capital / liquidity access until the business is a going concern, SHG wasn't taken private until this was the case, and SRB is starting to exhibit these signs now too that it's been turned into a going concern.

The risk here comes when this is turned round into a going concern and the risk in the business is gone, and it's mopped up / sold / taken private on the cheap.

For now, however, there's still a multibagger to be made if you think it will turn it round into a going concern first and foremost. That's the risk and roll of the dice we take as PIs.

I'd bet the next RNS is to tell us who these Brazilian 'eligible' institutional investors are who the shares have been sold to.

Mining is a complicated business. Guess they aren't keen on giving mining licences to wholly foreign owned companies and want shareholders diluted to some extent by Brazilian Companies.

What you'll find, is if they 'crack' their production issues and start delivering is their reporting 'idiosyncrasies' will magically clear themselves up, all of a sudden they'll go month to month, quarter to quarter and ASICs / Net Cash, etc. and alike will start to appear, we saw that with SRB, and it 5 / 6 bagged from the lows. People need confidence in what you invest it and cogent reporting is what gives that confidence. Currently, the reporting is an aloof and half hearted attempt to show the progress they want you to see.

Reading between the lines and having invested in companies like this for 15 / 20 years and has to champions and some shockers along the way, is they are working to not only get higher grades on the pads, but the constant emphasis on 'improving kinetic leaching rates' is they are still working on how to maximise what techniques and solvents work best to recover the most from the leach pads, that's further shown by the fact they aren't reporting in current grades, as the grades and recoveries won't match / look great until they get to the bottom of this.

A lot of work to do. But if they 'crack' it it's an instant 4 or 5 bagger in my view.

You couldn't have dreamed of a better Macro environment for a Gold Producer / vast potential for exploring.

The next few weeks will tell if they have the ability to deliver the Micro side of the equation.

Gold flying and my 3 Gold Plays on AIM all got slamed today at one time or another, you do wonder at times...

It's a increasingly binary play this with gold flying.

If they can improve their leaching rates, recovery rates, ore grades, and Au production, it will multibag without blinking.

If they don't, it's AIM.and it's Mining, it will be brutal.

I hold a decent size chunk here, because it think the potential reward is worth the risk on capital.

I'm guessing the licence will soon be granted given this news, the way the world is fragmenting, its going to become more common for Sovereign Governments to demand a lot more 'local ownership' such as this before giving them the right to decades worth of mining rights.

As stated below, and perhaps it's counterintuitive to most, but the time when you are least likely to have the rug pulled from underneath you in these situations is when the are transitioning from poor profits / balance sheets to good profits / balance sheets, a company like GRL requires constant access to liquidity should the situation arise...

The potential rug pull happens when you become profitable and can go private, see Shanta Gold as an example.

Even in thar case, we'd still make a return at these prices IMO.

It's a crazy situation, no one wants to buy the miners, just the raw product they produce. All miners in the ditch considering the price of Gold.

That will change one day, all GRL can do is focus on and improve fundamentals.

the 15p or so from 2021 / 2022, no, can't see that again, but despite their operational / communication messes, if you are stacking 1g/t at 48k a month, even with dore / leaching recovery rates being suboptimal, they'd really have to go some to **** this up (possible of course), can still see a 2, 3, 4 bagger here later in tye year assuming they can get out from the their own feet.

They'll be more dilution to come, they'll take the debts as a mixture of cash / new equity, and probably take themselves right up to 29.99%.

At 1p a share its still cheap if they hit their production targets at healthy AISCs, probably by multiples.

If they can't make that happen, none of this will matter.

As a poster stated below, this was known about to be fair. Cleaning up your balance sheet for a company that was in the kind of mess GRL was wasn't going to be cheap...the ones who bought in here at 1p a share will still make good money if the operations continue to improve. As I said the other day, this company has serious growing pains to get out of before it can go on a run.

Plus and minuses in this, a plus a major shareholder is going deeper into equity, a negative we as PIs get diluted by 10% on a rock bottom share price valuation. It's a share that's been cleaning balance sheet up for the last year now, it's slowly getting there as its operations also improve, but it should be no surprise to PIs that insiders will cream the rewards here. There's money (probably) to be made here as PIs, but we need to know our place when you invest in a company like this.
