Not catching fish is what i'm best at :-) Just having some company while out fishing makes a less boring trip , 30+ knots is fun for a while but does get a bit old after the first hour or so .. I don't actually make sails, repair them yes. I mostly make the canvas and boat upholstery, the odd car interior and industrial covers. I have a 911 Porsche booked in next month for an interior and a Princess 41 motor boat so won't be getting too much time on here . Dirty work but somebody has to do it :-)

I have had a couple of thoughts over the weekend. 1. what would happen if you sold your entire stock in one go pending an SP rise, would that bring the company to its knees ? 2. well what a to do !! Ramping/deramping ?? I don't know and I don't care. Fact is I am new to this and have very quickly learned to ignore just about 99% of the chat on shares.. ' charting reports, buys, sells, broker ratings, peoples opinions etc are worth just about nothing in the grand scheme.. Shares explode on a tiny piece of news and don't on massive news ? they fall quickly through fatigue and often for what appears to be no real reason as well I do believe the whole share thing is manipulated from above so what ever anybody says or does it is mostly a guesing game anyway, just sometimes we get lucky on the back of the greedy bastards at the top..

my holding here is tiny so makes little difference either way this falls but your holding would scare the hell out of me. I think the main problem is a long downward trend in the FTSE ,expectation of bad news from the US QE tapering and all the unknowns in the end of year reports this week As far as I see it if things do go bad in 2014 then gold is the place to be as thats where the big players will head for..I'm keeping a weather eye on the gold price next year ..
