George Frangeskides, Exec-Chair at Alba Mineral Resources, discusses grades at the Clogau Gold Mine. Watch the full video here.
My concerns:
Increasing water cut of 7z. 6,000 bbls water predominantly from a well producing 8,000 bbls oil. That's up to 40%.of approx. 40%
They are maintaining guidance of 18,000 bopd net of operating efficiency. Unlike the last presentation there was no mention of being able to produce at higher rates to offset the operating efficiency
No update on drilling plans or other work.
Suppose we will have to wait for the CMD for further clarity
Meant to add "whichever comes first"
Unfortunately, I can't watch the livestream tonight so look forward to the RNS or posts about an excitable Dr T grinning like a Cheshire cat as we have seen in previous interviews ;)
ADUK,
That's true. There are various interpretations of completed.
P.s. you forgot the installation of the downhole pressure gauge ;)
Themarl,
Correct.
I have no idea why so many people seem to think the talk on Lancaster tonight (that would have been scheduled weeks ago) has an influence on the timing of the drilling results.
What press conference?

Our event tomorrow night is SOLD OUT with a Wait List. However, if you would like to join us remotely we will be livestreaming the presentation on the following link:- hTTps://lnkd.in/g62-Ygj

Or maybe they are waiting until the dst is completed?
As stated previously, Lancaster is the subject of the talk tonight.
That's correct and it is specifically about Lancaster
The DST takes as long as it takes. Once completed an RNS with the initial results will be issued.
In my view, Dr T speaking on Thursday has no influence on the timing of the RNS.
Dr T does like to be offshore for the critical offshore ops. As he has not cancelled tomorrow I would assume that the testing is almost complete or any remaining operation is considered routine or does not require Dr T's to be offshore e.g. setting pressure gauges etc
My view is the are issuing an RNS at the start of the well test so they don't have to issue another reactive RNS in response to flare watchers photos
Hectare,
Not really an issue. Google 'oil allocation'

So we have drill results soon and lately the share price had dropped. Have you sold out like you fortuitously did before WD or are you waiting for the nod?

You are correct. In the CMD presentation AS did indeed confirm the intended size of the 'initial' parcel was 350kbbls. The Environmental statement states parcel size of 450 to 550 ( from memory as I don't t have a copy to hand) Economics dictate that subsequent parcels will be between 450 and 500,000 bbls su eject to early lifting due to inclement weather/tanker availability etc ..all IMO
Thanks to Carcosa on another board. Q3 presentation now on HUR website

Yes, but 350 bbls is a small parcel. I've not checked the weather but assuming they are not loading prematurely due to inclement weather I reckon average production is a minimum of 11 kbopd
It's £10 for charity and fun. My prediction is basically a guess but is greater than most other folks estimates based on actual company guidance and i am at a severe disadvantage to a lot of folks on this board who, let's say have their ears a lot closer to the ground. Some of whom have come out with very specific values. In addition I basically offered to bet anyone on the internet. It was a bit of fun. Do you have a prediction?
Agreed
