It's not a desperate attempt at finding value, there's only so many different options available, and it's clearly announced within the latest RNS:

"In addition, the Company continues to explore options to maximise the value to its shareholders of Atlas Metal's existing portfolio of assets."

As for moving down to the AIM market, that will all depend on the main market £30 million MCAP threshold on the next RTO.

If it is below £30 million MCAP and a producing expandable asset giving an overall value around twenty times today's MCAP, I'd be delighted.

This company won't be a one trip pony as Chris Chadwick laid out within the latest RNS:

If you really think all the value was in the failed RTO, then you'll be on the wrong side of this investment.

There's only a maximum of 14.7 million shares available currently, those holding now are most likely waiting for the announcement of the next RTO and therefore the free float can only be a fraction of the above.

And that most likely means it will be NT to buy on any spike from good news.

IMC initiated arbitration through the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), seeking US$63 million plus interest and legal fees. The first hearing was scheduled for 9th March , 2023.

17th June, 2024, the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved a bill lifting the ban on uranium and thorium prospecting, exploration, development, and mining.

The arbitration process is still ongoing, perhaps they will maximise shareholder value from this, or sell the asset, or add the value into the next RTO.

Whatever way you look at it, there's certainly more than Zilch value DYOR

They need another binding SPA and complete the terms laid out and then they'll get one over the line.

Competent Persons Report would be exactly the same for everyone for example, all the reports and legal regulations would also be the exact same.

Don't you think a company like Orion wouldn't also done due diligence as well?

The deal for AMG fella through because they couldn't complete the funding on-time, as per the RNS.

Another company came along and took advantage.

There's always potential buyers and sellers, that's business.

Managem and AMG were negotiating / communicating. The onus is with Managem to update AMG on the sale.

AMG had a binding SPA with Managem, Purple Hedge could not have purchased CMO, if AMG had met the criteria of the SPA.

Purple Hedge is also a private company, and therefore a straight sale, for an agreed asking price was all that was required, if they had the funds available.

Any due diligence needed would have been available from the failed RTO reports.

No regularity approval was needed because it is not a listed company.

Lastly, with AMG SPA, there was a locked-box mechanism, possibly containing up to $5m going to AMG.

Purple Hedge sale , would have seen the $5m go to Managem.

So, the RTO would have been $30m and a quick sale to Purple Hedge was also $30m plus up to another $5m for Managem.

Copper1, for the company to release an RNS about Purple Hedge buying CMO, it would require feedback from Managem to AMG.

If you think AMG has been withholding information (can't think why they would) , I suggest you take it up with them.

Secondly, anything potentially libellous posted on these bulletin boards would also make LSE liable for facilitating / allowing and therefore, it could explain the reason for comments being moderated and removed.

They need to get another RTO first and grow from there.

He's done it before, so why can't he do it again?

RNS seems pretty clear to me ;

Following the failure to complete the acquisition of CMO the Company's management have been examining and engaging in discussions with a number of other potential acquisition targets, which are primarily producing assets focused on copper and gold in Africa.

In addition, the Company continues to explore options to maximise the value to its shareholders of Atlas Metal's existing portfolio of assets.

LOL the assets were all given a discounted value in the last RTO, and a month later peole must think it has changed.

You have to be careful using multiple avatars or you risk being banned.

Your argument regarding associated fees is a good one, no doubt there will be some costs leftover from the failed RTO.

Now , if we go back to 6th August & 20th November, you'll see the company raised money Via CLN payable post-RTO.

I suspect the company would try and raise the same-way as twice before, but most likely, they would need to provide something tangible to any potential CLN holders beforehand.

I think the above scenario, would also be part of a chain of events.

Today's RNS had no mention of needing funds.

Secondly, they would only need to raise funds when there's a transaction to be had.

I'm just saying they aren't looking to dilute needlessly without a transaction.

Legacy assets were always going to be sold, I can't see them ever spending millions for extraction.

TBH, I read that as they are trying to avoid dilution.

I'm going to continue to buy regardless , time is on my side to build a bigger position.

They didn't lend the money on-time for the SPA, as there was a second buyer.

I'm sure the next SPA will be structured differently.

So there's gold & copper asset options on the table. All based in Africa.

Siennaj, yes the name change and consolidation was connected to the failed RTO but it can also be applied now to any acquisition.

The share structure is ready, it's down to the BoD to deliver a plan B.

Chris Chadwick is high calibre and I believe he'll already be working hard on something tangible to bring to market.

The company's funds must be low and they'll most likely be working on structuring non-dilutive funds as we're an oven baked RTO ready to happen.
