It means they are not running a traditional AIM model of placing shares into bucket shops, and instead are running a VC seed type funding model with UHNW .. placing shares at higher values in each round based on progress of the project ..

We have deep resource to capital through long held relationships and will continue to raise funds from family offices, institutions and UHNW associates rather than from the market. We would very much like to be running a more traditional model, but we feel for the scale we aspire to and the speed we wish to execute the AIM market does not currently offer the level of capital or the valuations that our model demands.

Agree. Last time around at £5 the investment was sold as an outlined idea, although there was probably more meat on the bones than that - which we didn’t hear about.. This time, they’ve assembled team, banking licence, patents, metaverse angle, Joe Lyske coming in to run proceedings.. plus whatever else is in that big booklet! Those first investors took the bigger risk and got the lower price. Let’s see the next set of hands..

It’s not a great deal of time to fill $25m - and we’ve seen the next stage investor presentation in the video last week. Going by the noise from ceo about investors in his “orbit” then you’d think he has either soft offers or better - once they see the booklet. In or out, think this is around the time..

Buyers keep chipping away at it down these levels. I guess this is the point where you’re either on or out for when first investment news comes. Be a scramble when it does.. the floats getting tighter by the day

Yeah I agree Kong1. It’s a much easier sell for funding when you’ve assembled a team of highly credible people. Dr Bowen has been senior counsel to Palantir Technologies for a couple years .. other senior counsellors are at the very highest level in Us Government and other positions..

David Spirk, former chief data officer at the Department of Defense, will join Palantir as a senior counselor.

Spirk, who left the Pentagon in March, will now advise Palantir and focus on helping its leadership grow the company’s government and international business.

Palantir currently has contracts with the Army to build out an intelligence data fabric as part of the Distributed Common Ground System and is competing to be the main contractor for the service’s next-generation ground system, Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node.

Big money takes the Palantir name serious.

Wonder when first investments will be rns’d? Quite a bit of info released to market on the plan (for less than 10% of co) and new presentation booklet been out there for a week or two. I’d reckon RS has people already in mind and sounded out.

Onto better news, which came from AI specialist Tintra whose shares shot up 58 per cent on Friday.

The catalysts was an AGM statement from the group’s chief executive Richard Shearer.

He somewhat buried the lead in his commentary, ploughing through all the historic challenges, before arriving at the headline.

The group is developing, in harness with research and investment firm Time Machine Capital 2, what it described as a ‘revolutionary’ banking platform.

Tintra said it is already six months ahead schedule, so it is going out to raise $25million for ‘not greater than 10 per cent of the company’.

If Shearer achieves that goal it would value the business at US$250million, or £205million, making a mockery of the company’s current £27million market capitalisation.
