Thanks very much Mr Spade, my Degiro trading account doesn't cater for shareholder interaction like AGMs or EGMs and seen as I can't just show up to the AGM because of COVID, the link is much appreciated.

HI does anyone have a link to the AGM?
Good to see a bit of head way I've just come back under the €25k unrealised loss for PVR for the first time in ages. The weight doesn't seem as heavy anymore
We are advised to remote access the AGM this year, this brings up a problem for me, how am I going to get my share of dividend if I can't eat and drink my own weight in sandwiches and tea at the AGM.
Just a heads up with Degiro, you lose access to AGM/EGM and voting rights for BIRG unless you apply and pay. I used to be Goodbodys too... robbing shower of so nd sos. Started with Fexco but Goodbodys took over and trade prices and account maintanence costs soared
Lol...won't somebody please think of the children
Que sera sera PC
Aahh good auld PVR, its good to see the bronze go into the night. I put 10 euro a week into a syndicate to bet on winning the lotto, I treat PVR with the same expectation, it might change your life but it probably may not. Luckily I split my investments into what I consider more practical endevours like property, bonds and mutual funds which make enough to keep me going even if i never work another day in my life. Fair enough I haven't lasted till Feb to post a comment, how could I with the PVR/TULLOW coincidence, I like the optimistic posts but I'm going to hold tight, its a long way up and historically we are not that buoyant. Wouldn't be expecting anything drastic till new year. Manyana for CEO!!
So the company is capitalised till Feb and it looks like the rate of progress of the company is highly dependent on a farm out. There really is no need to keep an eye on PVR till after Christmas, all that is getting posted here is mostly opinion and wishful strategy. I suggest that everyone here takes up a hobby for a few months and if anything does happen Manyana can fill us in. We can read it all when we're nursing hangovers New Years Day. Happy christmas shopping folks
I dont know if its right to blame the technical staff who've been there for an average of 10+ years. The technical teams workload has kinda dried up since April according to Tony. That is why they were released. If there was capital then work may have been found but seen as PVR is pretty much focused on a small number of licenses it's practical not to keep em on. They still have contractors on hand if needed for future works
Yea his overall renumeration hitting a third of expenditure did come up but the room was a bit tame, those idiots given the floor to talk about climate change really fractured the Q and A pressure. He did come out with a line saying he works damn hard for PVR.
Honestly the 'how far will payment extensions be granted' question was pretty much answered by saying 30th sept PVR will seriously consider their options but in terms of nailing down an actual final date... how long is a piece of string.
The financial folks at APEC have assured PVR that the payment has been paid on their side. Its in the hands of HSBC who are processing it. A suggested max of 2 to 3 months processing is a possibility based on historic payments from China. APEC are pretty much a facilitator of resources backed by various investors it may be the idea of various investors which is holding up the transfer. I wasn't really expecting PVR to produce to us documentation from APEC side showing a receipt.
Yea I hope Sept 30th is the final cut off it's killing the sp. Imagine what value the 10% issue would have been without the continuous "backstops" probably 2.5 times the 5.1p offering. SS for the meeting itself. God some of the attendees love the sound of their own voices...what waffle, waxing lyrically about uncontrollable factors climate change/brid Smith and other Macro rubbish that's coming around the corner. The AGM was surprisingly civil. I think people know the board are trying their best. Apparently the technical staff being let go was independent of the stalling if the APEC funds. We nrarly got a delboy special 'it will be late 2020 before production is underway' it's like saying 'This time next year Rodney'
There is a lot to be said for pushing it out 3 weeks.
1 It will help TOR get over this AGM
2 Alternate financial arrangements can be brought to the point of execution
3 The share price wont have this weekly expextation and disappointment from RNS
4 The second survey may be done by then with a good news outcome which would help the sp with regards to a share issue to raise capital
I think everyone needs to chill and relax a bit maybe tune into the Boris Johnson **** show for a while, its fairly entertaining. It's a week away from the AGM. I think the tension, anxiety and frustration here needs to be calmly funnelled into material for the meeting. Some handy phrases like - We are not angry Mr O'Reilly.....just disappointed! or What is currently our biggest annual expense... is it you Mr O'Reilly? or How do you looked so tanned in weather lile this?
Its good to be optimistic but being a PVR shareholder is so depressing. All this agonising waiting. It's like waiting for a John to do the business so he can roll over and we can go cry in the corner with the money that will never give us back our dignity. Being dumped on and made bits of in a long and protracted way since 2010 (by many sources) that our sense of decency and level of acceptance of the norm has been eroded to the level that we sob as we ask ourselves how did our lives get here . They say the oil business is greasy bit this is the something else. Happy Monday everyone...sorry for the graphic portrayal
Totally agree Manyana, it make a lot of sense
Thanks Mark
