As stated, nobody knows the quality of news and it could just as easily be rockets and not damp squibs. No news is exactly that and lack of update would suggest that have no material operational news to release but that’s not possible unless they downed tools. They’re getting the $15m cash from the first barge deal, would be good to know when ie 23 or 24. It’s their fault for sp retrace of 30%+ ! can’t elect sp to continue running if they keep schtum .

Profitable, more cash with barge landing, Divis to continue and funded to continue operations. Kazakhs aren’t selling, it’s only PIs and as always, they dictate the price and all speculation as always.

Like you, I sincerely hope that they are drilling down to 5200m but I don’t think they have, I believe it’s more blockage issues. As you say, they could’ve drilled 2 other sidetracks on 802 but we’ll soon find out. The commentary from Carver was positive re current prod inc 802 was 3k+ but I suppose that could’ve been a statement of fact rather than flow rate stabilised and our first commercial success.

A mixed bag is my guess for news but as I keep saying, nobody has a scooby as HQ is not leaky. Next week or the following week and maybe we see some buying at the end of this week, buying the news.

Paul, if it’s poor 802 and zippo success on shallows, the sp will crash into the high 4ps, early 5ps maybe but it will bounce hard providing there’s nothing nasty in the next news, I doubt that. If the shallows and deep work continues as planned the sp will recover quickly.

You won’t have to wait long, next week probably and the update has to be comprehensive as they’ll cover everything in FY accounts.

22 financials should be very positive as oil prices have been stable, they introduce the mini refineries to replace discounted oil exports and should’ve been receiving healthy net returns as no minimal cost. Hopefully they’ve managed to sell 50% of the oil to that sector as a minimum.

So financials for H2 should be positive and hopefully forward guidance continues that way. Trading their own oil, I don’t see that making a difference as they’re not exporting so we need to see that MJF is still producing at c 2400 bopd and who knows, they may have got sone shallows sorted and adding in 802 production but I’m very concerned on that front. Critical that the cash cow continues to be stable or even better, they build production. That is the key asset to future continuation of the business until they convert the deeps. The barge has been the best news in last year aside from Divis and that cash could be a lifeline if they hit prod problems.

Moving Divis to quarterly was a sensible move from an admin perspective but I think we all know that this was largely down to cash flow and if they’d have continued they’d have missed their pledge. Continues Divis are great providing that they continue ye to make operational progress. A healthy yield at current prices but investors will soon lose interest if capital investment is at risk.

All about operational success and after 16 years of drilling, 2400bood is not what many investors want. Loads to report on operationally -;

There are positives and they are in a far better position financially than in 2020 when Covid and oil price crash almost sent them to the penny stock graveyard. No operational news for 3 months plus, let’s hope next week update provides us with real clarity as to H2 22 and H1 ytd and that any concerns as a result of radio silence are not proved to be correct.

Bull, we’ve had good ones on Friday. Quite simply we haven’t had one as it’s being lined up for FY accounts I’d suspect. Not guaranteed but looking that way as why prepare an RNS so close to FY accounts release. If that’s the case then the update will be detailed but I for one am not expecting fireworks.

Looking back at FY accounts release, the majority of releases are mid to end of May. This only changed in 2020 as a result of Covid and the same in 21 with late June publication.

It looks very likely that they’re going back to pre 20 timeline ie May releases and I suspect Clive is busy finalising accounts. They had advised that they would release FY accounts and divi dec in May so I suspect that we’re going to get a comprehensive update in the FY accounts, probably w/c 15/5.

The big question, why gavent they released news from a very active Q1 operational schedule prior to FY accounts release. Legally they have to release material news that would affect sp so the fact that they haven’t would mean that they had nothing to release yet ? As already posted, that makes no sense to me but we’ll know soon enough.

I’m expecting a poor operatiobal update that will be mixed with positive news. I think we’re going to see poor drilling update with continued problems and that will be countered with the positives ie better financial results, divi declaration, barge cash and an agreed plan with Block 8. If I’m right, the sp will probably retrace before bouncing again as PIs go into rinse and repeat mode as they look forward to a very active H2 with numerous wells on the go and possibly 2 or 3 deeps.

Could be way off the mark and I will be pleasantly surprised to see a blockbuster drilling update but I think that’s rose tinted stuff as we’d obviously have received good news by now. Talking about the cost to release RNSs due to cost and issuing quarterly updates is nonsense, they are required to release material news immediately.

Hoping that I’m way of base but back to sleep until mid May and I’m hoping to eat some Buble pie but I doubt I’ll need to.

We know the upside opp for Casper and hugely disproportionate to the downside. Many bags to be had on the upside and let’s hope the recent sp run continues. My fear is that they update with FY and they can dump the poor news if needed.

Have I missed something ? Divi declaration with FY accounts in May which is earlier than usual but 5 other wells in progress so we must believe that there’s no material good, bad or indifferent news to release ! They can’t release qtrly updates when there’s allegedly 5+ wells that should e been completed.

Regardless, nowt we can do about it and we’ll get it when we get it, hopefully pre 22FY accounts.

Re sellers, leverage probably being squeezed again but there’s a silver lining for those with any ISA work to be done :)

Unfortunately delays equal frustration equal sp retrace. Gone to 8.5p on 802 news and back to high 5s as radio silence continues. As far as we know, it’s good news all the way but I’d have expected to see it. Real value ? We know we have MJF underpinning together with barge cash and they’re profitable with no need for funding to continue. 4 or 5 wells on the go, surely sone positive news in the mix. Could double in great news and continue as hype kicks in but downside ? maybe 5p, depends on the news as always. Upside 100%+, downside 20% ?

Pays your money and takes your chance but spread betting on this stock, not for the faint hearted !!

Patience…..lol, welcome to Casper. The longer that news is delayed, the more likely that we get an update with the FY22 accounts publication. If that’s the case, we’ll get a detailed update but any poor news will be thrown on with the other positive financial achievements ie CE cash, divi declaration, strengthening financial position etc.

The sp is obviously going to drift with continued radio silence but the fact is, nobody has a scooby until the next episode of Caspian Chronicles.

I’m hoping we get an update pre 22 accounts published but the longer this goes on, that scenario is the likely one.

As per Carver’s last update in March, we can expect 22 FY accounts publication and divi declaration. Much that timing is not his strongest suit we will or should get news this month !

Logic would say that something good is going on because of all the accommodation ordered ? The Casper village set up to manage all the workload created by 802…lol I’m not sure how long you’ve been invested here but don’t get suckered in to the P&D hype. Nobody knows what’s going on operationally, it’s all speculation. Anybody posting on this BB that doesn’t follow the path of positivity, gets the no likey treatment…lol

Rhertig has posted that 141/142 had encountered water cut issues and that obviously is a concern. 142 was heralded as a 1400 bopd success, a year later we’re still waiting for updates as to current position..lol Throw in 141 and other MJF work overs that should have been completed in Q1 latest. Last comms stated that they were still producing at c 2400 bopd and 802 success increased that to 3000bopd+. No mention of other increases from the shallows so i assume that problems continue on the shallows.

Somm, unfortunately we know zippo as to what’s going on operationally. Quite simply, a good leadership team would update the market with material information that would affect sp. Not publishing RNS info because it costs too much money !! So much work going on operationally and nothing to say ? If there was positive info to release we’d have seen it. You may be right on 802 but it would be good to understand that they were drilling ahead, I’ve seen nothing to suggest that. There’s no flaring, flow test requests that I can find in the public domain but yet again we’re in the dark.

Let’s hope I’m miles off base and my concerns are misplaced, I’m sure many other investors have the same concerns, if not then you’re wearing rose tinted specs. PIs are irrelevant and quite simply are an irritant to Casper, been that way for many years.

Let’s hope 3 months+ of potting shed treatment results in a detailed update on all fronts with a very positive slant but I’m expecting more problems and Carverspeak.

Meant to be our best cos so hopefully the 700-900+ has been maintained .Maybe a blockbuster announcement tomorrow at close of play, giving time for PIs old and new to digest the news and rockets on Tuesday am . We live in hope and pigs may fly.

Somm, quite simply, coinms continue to be poor. Re 802 and all other projects, we’re in the dark. Drilling to TD on 802 ? possibly but just as likely more problems stabilising well ? another sidetrack etc. 5 wells on the go and 3 month news void, typical Casper.

Me T, you may be happy with divi only whereas I suspect that most would like to see 100%sp appreciation following a successful operational update, the divi is a welcome bonus. Each to our own :)

They have a responsibility to release material news, good,bad or indifferent, as it happens, real time, not to stockpile it and release quarterly. So in 3 months with at least 5 wells being worked, we have no material news on any ?? At this rate we’ll get next divi or 22FY accounts publication first….lol

One good thing for some who haven’t managed to sort their BedNIsa out yet.

To add. Feedback from Clive at AGM was that they were looking to get a sun for the disposal of licence but wouldn’t be drawn on sun but wouldn’t be anywhere near the cost of acquisition.
