Is this just Tesla...maybe Greta needs to rethink her ideas for transport. I also have Aspberger's and among my weaknesses are inflexibility and an inability to perceive some of the consequences of my actions.

Talking of batteries and bikes. I have an ebike on which I travel about 12 miles a day. I am on my 3rd battery battery in 9 years, replacement cost £250 each. I can only imagine the replacement cost for a Prius.

Seadoc, thanks for your informative (for me anyway!) response. I merely implied that if the 3.5 was simply to keep the lights on then things are not as advertised...but that's nothing new anyway. Thanks for taking the time to explain.

Jarrow, I think you should reserve criticism of Seadoc until we know where the 3.5 millions have gone/are going. If his calculations are wrong then all well and good. If he is correct we have been lied to on a grand scale.

He presumably can't see it going up much in the near or mid-term, otherwise he would have arranged a bridging-loan or some such thing offering his shares as security?" -End- Since his sale the share price has gone up around 10%. If he had taken out that 'loan' mentioned above, rather than sell, he would have now been in the position to trouser a further £250,000 [approx.]. Still, as the old saying goes, "East come, easy go" and it doesn't come much easier than this for some of these chaps. Not all gloom for Howard Williams though as he has ONLY sold around 55% of his holding so has 2.6m+ shares still at hand in case another 'Personal Wealth Crisis' crops up? EDIT: Share price WAS up 10% since his share sale, but IS no more. The joys of 'gambling' eh!

If you remember from results, IQE are very happy about both the yield AND the quality of their qualification procedures. If you don’t know these procedures can involve an extensive number of ‘runs’ or ‘cycles’ and be time consuming ++, and not only involve the product but ALSO the reactor that makes it. We all grumble when a lot of $$$ were spent in 2018 and in H1 this year, but This will all generate the revenue and profit of tomorrow. Just remind yourself of the very high number of companies qualified or qualifying at the moment :-) By the way , even though Qorvo are a big customer I am guessing our biggest customer Skyworks will be picking up the slack here :-) eitherways the success of the current qualifications is heartening S"

Meanwhile, UKOG has spent £412,500 in acquiring further “highly prospective” assets from Europa Oil and Gas and Union Jack Oil, and I can’t help wondering if that’s maybe not the best use of cash right now.

If I owned UKOG shares, I’m sure I’d be wanting to see the company putting 100% into getting the oil flowing from its proven reserves rather than spending more cash on more future jam potential.

We are actually doing quite a lot... but some misguided actions are doing more harm than good. Europe's major use of palm oil is as an ingredient of biofuel, EU directive. Try telling that to the poor Orang Utangs. Drax B burning american hardwood chips instead of local coal. 30% of carbon emissions caused by burning forests to provide these and other "green" alternatives. Not as simple as those obstructing Oxford Circus seem to think while the traffic jams they cause elevate local NO levels above dangerous because another "green" idea was to encourage the use of diesel instead of CNG. (Tony Blair, who also caused other sorts of pollution throughout Mesopotamia. I could go on......Still the Hydrogen age is dawning and the govt seem to be doing very little to encourage its use..
