Agreed Rover90, CFO departure announcements always spook the market although for reasons stated below I think the reaction to Rachel leaving is overplayed and we will see the SP tick back up relatively quickly

Agree with you that Rachel has always been helpful responsive to emails and yes the business has grown since she hugely since she became CFO although I don't credit Rachel with this growth.

Also whilst I'm not sure the reason why she is moving on ( if that is the reason for the departure ) and the timing of her departure, since Rachel became CFO after the departure of Gerry Tucker I always saw this as a interim appointment and once Bango started to realise its potential Bango would need to find a big hitter to fill the CFO role to keep the big II's happy

Maybe with the expected forthcoming growth in the business this has come to a head prematurely a and thus the quick announcement.

We all know Mr Anderson uses these interviews to provide cryptic clues, you just need to listen carefully and have carried out a some homework so when he says it will be interesting to see what the ratio will be this year I suspect he already knows the answer

I find from 5m.15s onwards the most interesting when he is talking about the normal split between full year EUS being approx 60 /40 with H2 being the largest and whilst this is nothing new in itself its when he states it will be interesting to see what the split will be this year considering all the recent developments and that Amazon Japan physical goods is now very significant.

Even with a 60/40 split based on H1 £220m we would be looking at £550m for the full year so al looking good

Looking forward to getting some news / updates tomorrow. I think the H1 results themselves are unlikely to contain any surprises as the trading update gave a good indication on the H1 performance with EUS & cash in bank.

An update on EUS, what new contracts to expect in the coming months and confirmation of again doubling EUS would be great after a rather slow news period since the trading update and the summer holidays.

Looks like the MM's have shaken a few nervous PI's from the tree in the last days triggering a few stop losses but even then the volume has been small so not many PI's in the tree available to be shaken. Suspect even with a good H1 update unless there is some big news the MM's will have another go at shaking the tree tomorrow before the SP starts to tick back up in the coming days / weeks.

Looking towards the H1 results I have been trying to figure out what the cash burn / generation has been over H1 and originally I was of the understanding that on the assumption we had £4.8m end 2017, £4.8m from the placing and approx. £2.2m cash generation from H1 EUS (based on a conservative 1% margin) we had approx. £11.6m cash to start with and therefore the fact we only had £5.8m at end H1 gave me some concern as even taking into account the £1.48m cash consideration and 50% of the £630k service agreement for 2018 related t the Audiens acquisition Bango had burned approx. £4.2m

However, in researching the 2017 Final accounts in relation to the Audiens acquisition
I have identified that the only cash generated from the placing was £1,301,971 and shared services @ £554k throughout 2018 so lets say £275k during H1 and the rest of the £4.8m was issued in shares and warrants.

This then gives a completely different view of things and with Bango stating they had £5.8m at H1 end this clearly puts Bango into cash generation

Maybe I'm missing something or not understanding how the placing worked, any views please

Thanks for your view I will keep an eye on developments in India and see how this rolls out but good to see the market rapidly developing and attracting considerable interest from the big players

In relation to the storage of data as the BANGO strategy is to use the data they hold to attract and grow EUS with new partners as a result of targeted marketing offering I think the restriction on holding data outside India is a also a BANGO issue as without the data BANGO can not take advantage of the India data from EUS although I'm sure between them Amazon and BANGO will sort themselves out in full compliance

Does anybody know if BANGO are also involved in Amazon-india-bill-payments. .

Also does anybody know if the requirement of the RBI to store data in India will impact BANGO and its partners or are they in a good position having several years working with partners?

Strange SP fluctuations over the last few trading sessions, its like somebody wants to keep the SP @ or around £163.50, its acting like a coiled spring and somebody keeps bashing it down every time it pops its head up above £163.50

Just got back from hols and watched both interviews, all good stuff and bodes well for the coming 12 months and beyond, shame the SP hasn't picked up on this but I'm sure once these deals mature the cash will be rolling in as well as the marketing revenue from Audiens which I'm hoping will turn out to be a golden nugget.

The only gripe I have is whilst both interviews are covering different subjects and trying to send out separate messages why do they go through all the crap about good morning, nice to see you again and since we last met when it is clear that both interviews are recorded at the same time. I think they would achieve far more credibility if they just titled them Interview Part 1 & Part 2 with the title covering the different subjects / messaging

I sometimes ask who is driving the Bango ship. Bango year on year hit their targets almost to the. $. Therefore is this great forecasting by the Bango BoD or are Bango given a guanteed allowance for EUS growth from their development partners (Amazon. google etc). Cant help but think somebody ( including Odey.) know at lot more on what’s going on behind the scenes with Bango and it’s development partners than they are prepared or allowed to announce the market

So Odey over the last few days has increased his holding by 2.41% (1.688,209 m shares) £2.6m of the total stock and now holds 12.41% of the company

At what point does DCB become attractive in countries where banking, bank apps, Apple pay etc is the norm?

I would say equal / lower/ competitive cost base will be key but just as important is the convenience of DCB.

Also do not underestimate the youth of today who from the day they are born have had a smart phone / gadget in their hand and are more and more thinking why do I go through the hassle of filling in application forms for credit cards and hope to get approved when I can just charge everything to my mobile bill

Also wait until the mobile companies start allowing roll over on phone bills (subject to interest charges) for DCB purchases and the likes of Visa, MasterCard days will be numbered.

Whilst India & LTAM maybe a focus for the Bango sales team I would also suggest they will be busy in Indonesia. You can see from the below extract from the 2017 Results whilst US, Canada and the rest of the world saw fantastic growth Indonesia which is a Bango key market slowed which I understand is related to the withdrawal of the Blackberry operating system and that many of the subscribers during FY 2017 had yet to move over to using the Google Playstore. However I understand this is now happening which I would hope will buck the downwards trend of EUS in Indonesia. I also wouldn’t be surprised that the recovery of the EUS in Indonesia will be part the target £3 billion migration figure mentioned by Bango.
