Thanks again for the links, both very interesting especially with the partnership with Airtel starting to expand to other services and the mention of Netflix expanding their lower pricing model to other markets. Africa immediately comes to mind where Airtel are the 2nd largest MNO behind MTN who Bango also have a very strong partnership and Netflix are already active since 2016 although struggling to make major headway with the exception of SA.

Also the unbanked population and the explosion of smart phone ownership in both India and Africa is a great opportunity for who ever can get it right and I think Bango are well placed on all fronts especially with the above mentioned partners

Thanks for the link, at least we know that Bango are active in India on at least 2 fronts with Amazon & Bharti Airtel and Google with Idea both with subscription services and hopefully active with other MNO / partners.

Difficult times for the SP of late but that reflects the market in general although providing there are no skeletons lurking behind the scenes, Bango hit market expectations (hopefully far better) and continue to do so in years to come then the SP will sort itself out over time

Strange though that the SP is back to only a relatively small increase to where it was when EUS was multiples lower than where it is today (albeit margin has reduced), operating cost's have remained stable, they have a tremendous pipeline of opportunities and a far more diversified portfolio of offerings and have suffered relatively small dilution during the same period

Hopefully they have another Strategy day end Jan next year

I did find this and its interesting that the major Google play revenue is from the APAC Region, Japan & South Korea which are all areas in which Bango are highly active. The article states India has the biggest App download but no mention of revenue

Just catching up after 3 weeks holiday, so belated thanks for the overview of the Telefonica & Bango South America relationship and Netflix roll out

Came across this over the weekend covering Amazon's race for the Indian streaming market. Looks like Hotstar is our their main competitor having launched 2 years in advance of Amazon and also has the IPL cricket streaming rights. Netflix are also pushing hard to get a foot in the door but lagging behind

Make's me think sometimes with the employment strategy of Bango so reliant on the Company Share Incentive Scheme to keep salaries down is it in the interest of the BoD to have a SP towards the top of the company valuation whilst they are still growing and recruiting

Good recovery so far, bargain basement buying / strong support at these levels, could even finish blue today

At these levels this is a great chance for topping up ahead of the migration activations although I doubt they will be announced in time to seriously impact 2018 actual EUS. My opinion is that the forecast of doubling EUS this year was made by Bango with full knowledge of the time line of the migrations so will be achieved on existing known activations and the growth for next year will come from the migrations as well as the normal organic growth of the business

Just a reminder from the Interims

Current systems have been tested to transaction volumes equivalent to EUS in excess of £5Bn/year. With EUS levels in the sales pipeline for upgrades from direct connections equivalent to more than $4Bn/year, software development is underway to ensure substantial additional capacity is available in 2019 and 2020 without additional operating costs.

Apart from the back office girl who has been acting as CFO for 2 years moving on nothing has changed so we just wait for the deal RNS but more I look forward to the trading update in Jan

The only option you can select for opinion is strong buy but that must be the understatement of the year

Minor observation but Odey last upped his stake in Bango from 9.9% to 12.4% on 27th July this year with the SP @ approx £1.65

I also suspect he was also involved dropping the SP from circ £2,50 end 2017 by selling approx 500k shares only to buy a larger chunk back @ the placing price of £1.80

The RNS states Carolyn is expected to remain as interim CFO on a full time basis until at least April 2019 or until a permanent CFO is appointed

This in my opinion gives stability during the recruitment process, allows for the incoming CFO to serve notice and a suitable hand over period from Carolyn once the new CFO commences work but also allows this to be extended should the recruitment period become extended

That's only an interim CFO to ensure an orderly transition which is a good move rather than trying to fudge it internally and also allows time to recruit the caliber of CFO the company will need going forward

Why just BoD buying ? how about anybody with common sense should be buying at these levels considering the expected forthcoming news flow
