Over 600k shares traded, house keeping or somebody changing their position prior to the update

Also which I think is key is his should finely put to bed that there will be a fundraising anytime soon which many had been fearing ( or some vultures wishing for ) as this would also be privy information that would prevent him from buying if discussions were ongoing in the market

As stated lets hope Bango decide to issue the Trading Update sooner towards the start of July rather than later as they proved in December his can be done although at the strategy day Ray Anderson stated he had just arrived back from New Zealand so I presumed they had rushed the TU out early before he jetted away on holiday

You missed from your list the 4 billion pipeline of migration of EUS from existing Google Play routes onto the Bango platform

Yep shrewd move by Ray Anderson with a nice top up of his ISA account. Obviously he sees 80p as a bargain as he did in May 2016 when he picked some up at 43p and we know where the SP went from there.

Also he still sits with 50k share options @43p from 2016 which would have been a much more lucrative investment of his ISA allowance which again points to he views the 80p as bargain territory and he can save his options for a rainy day.

What ever the reason for Ray Anderson buying shares so near to the trading update I doubt we can expect any major company game changing new deals in the short term. That’s not to say we won’t get any news short term it just won’t be game changing and with the market already informed on expected doubling of EUS and deals for the migration of EUS onto the Bango platform confirmation that everything is on track I doubt would count as insider dealing. Any thoughts

For the 40% I have simply taken the total expected 2019 EUS at the low end of just doubling EUS as in previous years @ £1.1b and the target of £1.25b thus the £450-500m range. If Bango are constrained on news flow by their partners then maybe they should take the opportunity to issue the Trading Update ASAP once they have crunched the numbers. They were able to do this for the end 2018 Trading Update which they released on 27th December

Let’s hope Ray Anderson hits his target. Based on the traditional EUS 40-60 split between H1 & H2 H1 2019 EUS should be in the region of £450-500m. The £700m increase in EUS is also stated in the PERL note published end February although this probably reflects info they received from Ray so not totally an independent view. What will be interesting is the margin as Ray Anderson stated at the strategy day that he expects margins to increase over time so not clear if this will be reflected in the H1 results One interesting observation is that there is no forecast for any revenue from the data and Audiens side of the business even though in 2018 data activity generated £1.372m (cost of sales @ £796k = £575k profit) so any substantial increase in revenue could be a surprise and also to note @ 60i seconds into the Final Results video our CFO states the complete Bango Group was EBITDA positive in Q4 not just the payments business As you say a good Trading Update in line with Rays expectations will quickly return confidence and an upturn in the SP

It will be interesting to see how much EUS Harry & his mates generate throughout the summer and beyond. I'm sure this will spike just like Pokemon although Pokemon is still racking it in big time several years down the line since its launch in 2016

Unless by driving the SP down and keeping it low they see a more fruitful opportunity especially when you have low volume / low turnover as with Bango shares.

Also they have the call or put option on the Maras shares to deal with in the next 7 months which is based on the SP providing certain unknown commercial targets have been achieved

JD23 Can you be specific as to what Ray Anderson has promised and not delivered I would suggest this accusation is premature until the trading update and H1 results are announced unless you have inside info

Nothing new but Bango Sukey Miller just posted the attached via world press in relation to the Facebook announcement today on the Project Libra https://bangoinvestor.com/2019/06/18/bango-alternative-payments-and-project-libra/ I must say that even for Bango the last 5 months since the strategy day the lack of news flow has been exceptional. I’m sure if Ray wanted he could have issued several RNS but has chosen to stay stum which one could conclude Bango or the MMs want to keep a lid on the SP for what ever reason or Bango are keeping the details of any new deals under wraps and will let the results speak for themselves. Expecting trading update in the next 2-5 weeks

I see there has been a re distribution of shares among the major holders with Odey, Hargreaves Lansdown & Cavendish upping their holdings by approx 1.5m shares between them and it looks like they obtained the majority from Hargreaves Hale who have dropped below 3% so it’s unclear if the have sold all their 3 million or are still holding

Thanks P167 I did go to the strategy day but not the AGM as many have said over the years they just go through the formalities and it’s all done and dusted in a hour or so although maybe not this year by the sound of it. Was there any indication as to why there was so many votes not to adopt the annual report and also against Gianluca D’Agostino being re elected to the board Did you get the feeling all is on track

Thanks for the links, both articles are from Q3 last year so any free period will now have come to an end and subscription revenue starting to ramp up

Bango have always stated it takes 6 - 12 /18 months from initial launch for EUS to start ramping up so the cash should now be coming in. Also it is probably these types of deals where Bango deferred the upfront payments for recurring higher margin revenue

AGM Friday although if Bango stick to the script from previous years I'm not expecting any announcements or trading updates although maybe they surprise the market
