Hi Everyone
A big thankyou first of all to all the old faithfuls who plug on with their amusing spats useful insights and ceaseless encouragement.
An honourable mention to the trolls as well for their toothless banter and touching loyalty to their Lord and Master.
I don't post much anymore myself (although I am still an avid reader of the Board).
The reason for that is that from a scientific point of view Avacta have "done it".
AVA 6000 is in the bag.
Much more exciting the PRE -cision (will never learn how to spell it) platform is as we will see from the poster flexing its pre clinical muscles exactly as anticipated.
All that those who are unleveraged and have enough time need to do is wait for the arbitrary Gods of AIM to decide when the time is right to pick us up and (probably gradually) transport us to the land of the 20 bagger.
Unless of course an acceptable offer for the company comes in after 1b in which case it happens immediately.
Better say all imo.
Plenty of Material info
And Plenty of info (35 mins worth) to flesh out the World changing Ava6000 trial info we have already been told.
Beats me what more anyone was expecting.
They say the devil is in the detail.
I expect that as we drool over the recordings tomorrow we will be transported to a place where the afore mentioned individual (and his trolling cohorts) are unlikely to show up.
Nod to you PL75.
Good point.
How about Chilled shaken and stirred!!!
AVCT directors as well.
After all what we heard in the last announcement was that at least 6 patients were made a little bit better with no significant downside (even if these brave souls eventually pay the ultimate price).
No current standard treatment does that.
Roll on 1b so that AVCT can provide life changing hope to a broad range of cancer sufferers.
The above adjective should now describe all AVCT investors IMO
However I would have thought prospective patients who will likely benefit from AVA6000 and the treatments that will stand on the shoulders of this pathfinder may be excused for feeling more of a sense of urgency and I expect that this applies to the
Lucky for some.
For those not into navel gazing over analysis it still counts as early January.
I'll be awake at 7am tomorrow.
A big happy New Year to our little maladjusted LSE Band.
I suspect that it won't be long before we are not so little anymore (but I'm sure we will be just as maladjusted).
We know that in the next few trading days we mushrooms will get "Show and Tell" on AVA 6000
imo that will set trowels waving flippers flapping and absolutely set the tone for 2023.
Who knows what the immediate effect on the shareprice will be.
It doesn't matter.
IMO those of us who still harbour doubts on AVA are about to have them quashed.
Then the only thing that will then require faith is that behind the scenes our directors are receiving the required interest from the majors to commercialise their world beating technology. For me thats a no brainer.
I'm in heaven!
Very prescient Timster.
And I would have gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for you and the rest of those pesky kids...……...
I've never seen such a bunch of maladjusted sociopaths (well at least not since I spent a weekend in Berlin with my football chums).
And I include myself in that!
And do you know the most worrying thing!!!!
We'll soon be a RICH bunch of maladjusted sociopaths.
I am bumping this thread if only because imo it has a fantastic title.
I'd go to watch that film any day!!!
PS yaay.... its an ODX RNS....blue day for us!
Thanks Ophidian
Just heard an article on the Radio about the power of Placebo.
Got me thinking about how the positive effects of Placebo may have helped to scupper the trials of such as SNG and IMM both of whose drugs appear to be worthwhile not withstanding their trial results.
Then started musing about how that is one thing that we will have little to worry about in the context of a future Phase Two Trial.
Our drug is basically negating the effect of toxic poisons in the body.
Not something that could be remotely addressed by a Placebo whatever positive effect it may have on the brain I would suggest.
Then started wondering whether if the above holds true and AVA is shown to work in Phase 1 would it not be unethical to dose with a placebo in Phase 2 (whether with or without doxorubicin?)
Hi everyone.
Hope you are all enjoying your summers.
Due to the altered time lines for the AVA trial its bucket and spade in Skegness for the moment with a nice dream of Christmas in Verbier.
Fantastic posting by so many on here as our communal understanding of our opportunities is gradually bolstered.
imo we don't have to look far to see why we remain at this level at the moment.
Whenever AVCT is brought up on any of the other boards it seems to be viewed with incredulity as a Covid stock that is overvalued and has been lucky not to meet with the same fate as its "peers".
That's AIM and AIM investors for you.
Part of me wants to go on the NCYT site for purely altruistic reasons (Promise!) and try to encourage them how they can recoup their losses. Of course I would be as unwelcome as the proverbial fart in a space suit.
Hi Kevin
I appreciate the sentiments in your post.
With Syairgen of course it isn't that the treatment doesn't work. It seems obvious that it does work.
Rather what appears to have happened is a combination of their trial participants maybe not being vetted carefully enough, perhaps their various international locations not being supervised strictly enough and their endpoints not being considered well enough.
You can understand all the above when set against the chaos and fast moving character of Covid.
Appropriate analogies can no doubt be drawn with our LFT!
In my unschooled opinion our trial is unlikely to fall into any of the above traps.
Hi again everyone
Well here we all are possibly on the cusp of greatness.
Trolls cant be bothered with us any more so the good guys/girls are sniping at each other and its the age old AIM controversies.
Do charts have relevance or don't they?
Do we need an extra bit of rampy pampy or don't we?
Can we put up with a bit of harmless irrelevance or can't we?
We aint going to agree!
But can we at least agree on one proposition?
Avacta are likely to have a phenomenal future and revolutionise cancer care while making us all much richer if we are patient
I actually welcome a wee discussion about something other than the usual Agent.
But your fears are imo groundless.
Even if the American wishes for the change in WHO regs are accepted it will not give the WHO power to require any sovereign nation to do anything.
What they will do is enable faster sharing of info and greater ability to offer resources and assistance and make recommendations.
If you are reading a website that says different it may be worth considering that websites general attitude towards WHO.
Our Eurovision entry was released for sale on 22/02/22.
When it came to the competition it was number 22 in the order.
It came in 2nd place.
When it then first entered the British Charts it did so at Number 2.
Coincidence or something more sinister?
You decide!!!!!!!!
Agree energyshares and gmcc.
Difficult to reach any other logical conclusion than the results so far show beyond doubt that tumours activate our drug.
Ha ha!
Fiona has obviously been spending time with AS.
Seriously though...……..
Who can look at that RNS and not believe that the company is on a very big roll.
