I posted the whole file here a couple of years ago for the group as I was intending to do something else, which I still intend doing after resolve something else I got involved with.

Yep I agree, but I can either hold or trade my shares depending upon my gut (of which there is plenty).

Happy to sit on dividends or trade volatility.

China is the big question mark for me.

The Chinese population* is dealing with a huge housing problem (pyramid scandal) that's affecting their whole economy.

Those who have homes can't pay for them and those without can't buy them.

So nobody's spending which keeps capital out of the market and lowers demand.

I'm holding a massive portion of my portfolio in BP so I feel it more than most.

I know I know.

I do keep trying to sell it off, but it keeps falling and the trader in me finds it too tempting not to buy it back again.

I don't find trading BP as easy as I did UKOG, or the others but, if/when I do think it's at the top, I'm not afraid to sell and wait or invest elsewhere.

I'm personally very secure now and don't do as much trading as I used to anyway.

*Beginning to spread too. I see similar in Australia now, though I can't attribute it to the China problem. Maybe they have their own version. Either way they can't get mortgages to buy homes on current salary levels out there. There already seems to be the start of a migration to the Far East for a more affordable way of life. I find that very interesting and ultimately that will push up costs in those areas too, although it may take a lot longer..

Oil generally.., not UKOG.
