Like when they get over-excited about UKOG's share price rising from 0.021p to 0.022p.

Which is a 4.76% rise, not 10%.

However it rose from 0.02p to 0.022p over the last six months, THAT would've been a 10% rise.

It also fell from 0.18p to 0.22p over the last year, which was an 88.78% fall.

But hey, you keep grabbing at your fantasy straws and watching your investment dwindle.

Not much longer to go now.

"Averaging down"

This is a strategy supposed to mitigate losses.

It requires a share to have some volatility to achieve its' aim.

If the overall trend is either up or down, the 'average' will also be either up or down.

Following a downward trend is not "averaging down", it is just "throwing good money after bad".

I've made 10,000% profit from this share.

I did it by trading it over very short periods of time when it was extremely volatile (I started out only thinking I was going to hold).

That was mostly an eighteen month period in 2017 to 2018.

Since then I've traded it less and less and less.

I haven't had anything in this for over a year and don't expect that I ever would again.

The potential reward is no longer worth the actual risk (for me).

I'm not qualified to advise anyone but, if it was me, I'd be cutting my losses.

Quitting with something is better than quitting with nothing.

It does still have occasional pump and dumps, when it's possible to get out with a bit more.

But that's just another risk and might not happen again.

Who knows.

Asking for advice from a forum which you acknowledge has two clear opinions will get you two clear responses.

Look at the history of the business and its' management.

What has it ever actually achieved?

What does the balance sheet look like?

Which path will you take?
