A very weak rebound here today, after a huge fall. A very bearish sign. Nobody wants to catch a falling knife. Charts are now pointing to 40-50p as the next stopping point here on the downcycle.

Yup, Nikkei was at 19-20k in 1992.

This is the FTSE100 future for the 2020s, like the 2000s and 2010s. Never hitting previous highs. Locked in a constant up-down cycle between 4k and 8k. Britain is the new Japan.

Nikkei 225 Index (Tokyo) now back to 1992 levels, over quarter of a century ago.

A Europe-wide lockdown will be a catastrophe for EZJ. Planes will be empty.

History repeating itself.

Yup, oil is a classic mature market. Prices collapsing in a race to the bottom, profits shrinking, dividends shrinking, fading mind-share of energy, new tech replacing it, and so on.

BP feels like a good old lemon share... Big institutional investors piling out, with PIs left holding the parcel when the music stops...

Some wags are now saying BP stands for "Below a Pound"...

The hunger for oil is evaporating fast. The spot price has collapsed -70% in a decade. Greta has made oil untouchable. Tesla has made it unfashionable. Black gold has become black muck. This latest Russia-Saudi-US price war is accelerating further the downtrend. BP is out of date, out of fashion, and out of pricing power. Much more downside to come here.

As predicted, BP is collapsing to the 200s. Profit warnings and job cuts on the horizon.

The "oilpocalypse" is a disaster for BP.

Some charts are now suggesting this will fall to the 50-100p in the coming months.

Global economic recession is here now. This could become a banking crisis very quickly and easily. A 2000 pointer on the Dow, a couple of high-profile Chapter 11s in the US, and money markets could freeze in a flash. LLOY 20p remains on the radar.

The FTSE100 is now like the Nikkei 225. Full of outdated companies with no longterm growth future. The FTSE may never again return to its all-time high of 7650.

BP will certainly never return to its all-time high of 670p.

More bankruptcies, profit warnings, job losses and flight cuts to come for the airline industry. It is a war-like situation out there.

As predicted, again, EVR has plunged to below 250p.

Looks oversold at 225p, so a nice long trading opp in the near-term.

Monday looks set to be a record-breaker...

Monday is gonna be a bloodbath here. Looking at 200-300p range in days.

There have been five 5-day drops in the S&P500 of -10% or more since 1990...

On average, the market rebounded +12% in the following 6 months...

So, with an 80% probability, the S&P500 should be back to around 3300 by Sep 2020 (from 2870 today).

How many more comparables do you need !!!

Lufthansa was a high-price airline and it took 11 years to recover after a downturn...
Thomas Cook was a low-price holiday firm nearly 200-years-old and it went bust...
Flybe was a low-price airline and it went bust...
Air Berlin was a low-price airline and it went bust...
Norwegian is a low-price airline and it is on the brink of going bust...

Easyjet is a low-price airline... you get the drift...

And don't forget -- mighty Lufthansa fell -60% during the 2007 credit crunch... and it took 11 years for the shareprice to recover to previous levels... and if you account for inflation, it has *never* returned to previous highs, even after 13 years! Everyone always underestimates how long it takes for airline shares to recover. It is a cutthroat, overcrowded industry.

People have been saying LLOY is a "great investment" for ~20 years and while its shareprice has collapsed -95%...

If C19 grinds the UK economy to a halt, and house prices start falling, LLOY will be 20p in weeks.
