Personally i think 70 days to drill & test a well is a very far fetched timescale. Any gods amount of examples on AIM to compare it with.
Drilling rates will, of course, vary depending on geology & equipment used but an industry rule of thumb is between 60-70m per day. MATD estimate of 70 days is a drill rate of 47m per day, not a huge difference to industry averages. AAOG recently announced their spud date, estimating 63 days to drill 2000ish (cant remember TD) meters.
Week 34 seems a reasonable expectation imo. Anything outside of RNS statements is nothing more than BB speculation (rife)

Hi All
Seen a few posts speculating on where the drill bit is at as of now. im just looking at my notes from the presentation & thought i would share my timeline which is taken from the time (70 days) to target depth stated in the RNS.
1st Prospect - Week 34 (42.5 days from spud)
2nd Prospect - Week 36 (55.2 days from spud)
3rd Prospect - Week 38 (70 days).
Pretty sure i got the target depth from the presentation / ruler, so allow a little room for error.
The point being that we need 2 weeks of patience before entering 4 weeks of potentially game changing news flow.

A lot of speculation going here. People assuming it is J Oyungerel? Why assume that when there is a $24m placing to be flipped?
"not many shares about so must be her" hmm . . . think there's plenty floating about.
But still, being in the blue with a 900k sell on the books is a good thing. onwards.
Nice post mate, thanks
Worth a look 2x £60k buys
certainly is. I wonder how many generic AIM punters see a £2+ share price and think its expensive . . .
Another 40k+ buy went through yesterday afternoon
Certainly are mate. Updated mine y'day & posted on twitter https://twitter.com/Sken89/status/856986826053214210
the article is posted on iii - Just google it & you will find it
Always a good sign. although lets get ramping, as any volume at all in IDP & is fking fly's
So, is there a bid situation here or? certainly says so on HL but I don't see anything of relevance in recent RNS. Seen this a few months back & added to watchlist but completely forgot about it. If anyone could bring me up to speed it would be greatly appreciated
No problem buddy! To be fair it ended down 4% but was -12% at the time of my post! Hopefully a bit more interest is being rumbled up & we see a nice return to volumes, as they have been very low for 6 months. Looking to make another top up here, im heavily invested in 88e so I will take a slice of my profits and bring it to here, just not sure when to do it as we seem to be on a bit of a downward trend since may
any idea where we can find a transcript, audio etc? sp down 12% on the following trades, bit of a joke! 13:28 - 09/02 Sell 329 2.75p £9.05 08:23 - 09/02 Sell 8000 2.75p £220.00
As far as I am aware, the auction in Singapore in March is still a go. But I couldn't help but notice the RNS stated "H1 2016" rather than "Q1 2016" for the first sale of higher quality stones. H1 is still technically correct, but maybe there has been a change of plans?
Some nice info in todays RNS, SP up 15% on 1 trade worth £60 . . . would love some volume to return to this stock! 700k carats per quarter is a lovely figure, wonder if we can make it a nice round mill :)
My pleasure. I think the main thing we can take from this is that the RNS is no doubt positive. if you had bad news, or didn't meet market expectations, would you really wait to break the news in front of 100's of potential institutional investors @ a mining conference? I don't think so :)
Bit of a drop recently & would love to average down. think I'm sitting between 3.25 & 3.4. unfortunately I have no cash :D
Hey all so I dropped RLD an email yesterday & they got back to me pretty much straight away with the following explanation "The Q4 update will now be released in early February to coincide with the Indaba Mining Conference where I will be presenting and also have meetings arrange with several prominent international fund managers. We believe that the benefit of an update that will allow media interviews and “fresh news” to discuss with fund managers, brokers and other investors at one of the world’s largest mining conferences outweighs any negative perceptions caused by a 8 day delay of the quarterly update." the Indaba conference runs from 8-11th of feb (my birthday :D), let hope there is some juicy details in there! gla
