I agree with the easy passive streams, invest and forget.. compounds for years.

However adding in some risky high reward shares can be quite compelling especially at these levels when a turnaround is ongoing. Bare in mind it doesn't happen overnight. I wouldn't be so negative at these levels personally.. better to buy when everyone is bearish and spewing the type of comments you make than buy when everyone loves the sector and at the top . Each to their own though.

Been far more successful the last 20 years buying the out of fashion stocks so to speak than the bubble bursting hyped up type.

Anything can happen Simon, it's a fickle volatile market and can turn on it's head in sharp fashion. Could be 2026 onwards or in just a few months..

Agreed however. Better position now than when I first invested 2 years ago. We were going bankrupt then apparently.

Probably more so now than at any point. Debt has halved from this time last year, profitability is improving, stock is in the ideal position.. fundamental improving and SP languishing in it's sideways pattern.

Maybe it will maybe it won't, couple of bad years doesn't mean it's not a growth stock though. It needs time to adapt. The BOD think it will grow, the macros will change and we will see. It's very short term to think this won't grow again.

I reckon the things you have listed is why it as at £3 odd... Otherwise it'd be at many multiples right? So the upside is far greater than the downside..

Say the Mid term targets are hit of 3% CAPEX to sales and 8% EBITDA margin? Then what, no upside?

Sales of 2.8 billion at 3% CAPEX is £84 million.

8% EBITDA margin would give £224 million generated.

I'll let you work that one out..
