Only a matter of time before the market starts to value accordingly. The company just need to start posting some decent figures showing the FCF/cash generation.

As long as the MCAP doesn't t drop below £500 million then should stand a decent chance of 250 inclusion.. could do with being closer to £600 million though to near enough guarantee.

Good to see BEM bouncing 20% or so off it's lows over the past month. Hopefully a bit of decent news to come this quarter before a fundraise.

Separate figures from the audit firm BDO show retail sales in discretionary spend categories grew by 2% year on year in the golden quarter, compared with a fall of 1.6% in the same period in 2023.

However, it warned much of the increase was driven by online sales, as high street stores continued to struggle with sales growth of just 0.1% in the final three months of the year.

BDO said that bad weather and flooding in parts of the UK may have driven consumers to shop online, where sales increased by 20.7%. However, the audit firm warned the struggling performance on the high street could be compounded by higher employment costs and tax rises.

Interesting to see how ASOS have faired with it's newer 'best product we've had in years' stock.

Well done, I've done that a few times over the last 2 years bringing my average to just over £4. This time I didn't, as I thought we may go through resistance.. c'est la vie. One day it will sail straight through imo. :)

At 5%.. that explains the rise with the stakebuilding been going on in the background.

I'd say what they are doing right now will create alot of value in the not too distant future once the figures start coming through from the 2 profitable businesses. In terms of SP it's probably at its best risk/reward it has been imo. Let's see over the next 12 months.

450 resistance?

Old, irrelevant product and too much of it thus excessive discounting thereby eroding the profit margins.

It's on its way back up now with newer and alot less stock.

I don't think he annoys people that much, more desperation and panicky than anything else..

Until this breaks the 450 area then we are indeed still in that sideways trading range so not too much excitement coming from me just yet though it's certainly better being at this end of the range than the other.

I don't think it's a bid or very strong trading.. I think it's just the realisation by the market that is was priced to fail and the turnaround is taking affect-confidence is slowly building in ASOSs turnaround strategy.

Still early days though and still just at the top end of the sideways range so let's see if we can break out of it.

But will it break above the sideways ceiling...

It will be in March following H1.. same as last year. Unless they feel the need to update the market beforehand.

The good thing is remainco is a very profitable business with plenty of free cashflow. Once the noise dies down, the market will start to attribute fair value to nutrition and beauty imo. That's why I'm invested. May take a bit of time but it'll happen.

What a good few days, nice to finish up to Xmas. Still need to break that 450 area to break out of this 18-19 months sideways trade though.

Good to say we are 8.9% up YTD... Something that must be really gnawing at the naysayers :)
