Na Na Na Na
Hey Hey Hey
Goodbye!
This stock has been kind me to while I rode the crests the last few months, it helps I like the fundamentals and overall picture.
At around 227p it looks very appealing, and if it dips further then I'm happy to top up.
I wouldnt take much notice of % when it has a average range of -+ 10%, its (currently) a 28p share that moves like a 100p share
This is a marathon, not a sprint, it's not hard for any rational person to see that. The shorters want it to be the opposite. Don't let them fool you, the longer they are in, the more likely they lose.Long term holders can only lose up to 100%, but Shorters can lose an infinite amount.Read today about the last two Fast and Furious productions, no talk about VOD, just buildup for the highly anticipated Spring release, when the amount of big blockbusters going to be released, is unprecedented. It's going to be like a pressure valve released
Its the start of the short squeeze
Not enough volume for them all to cover their positions, dog eat dog
The bid is 37p according to LSE?
Couldnt find any pre market data to back it up
Well there ends the day
All that news coverage, prophecy of doom, and in real terms it got knocked for a paltry 12p. Forget about %, a 12p move here happens regularly.
The only way is up.
It's not like Netflix/VOD dropped out of the sky yesterday, if going straight to VOD was the most profitable idea, I would imagine the majority of big theatrical releases would have probably moved in that direction by now..
Mulan was a disaster.
The news is trending on social media as if this is a permanent deal, clickbait titles are painting CINE as being wound up for good with, NOT TRUE.
This is a necessary and preventative measure to ensure the exact opposite of that.
As an investor I will take advantage of the false narrative, and when I feel the dust is settled, will get fantastic value on my position here.
The bears will feast but make no mistake, once the trough runs empty, then there will be a helluva rise upwards. No pain.. no glory.
Come Spring 21, the amount of big releases, in a small space of time is going to be historical, we're talking huge blockbusters being released WEEKLY, its going to break cumulative box office records.
Stay strong! Good luck
Low volume today aswell, about 14m, compared to that day about 2 weeks ago where it hit 96m!
Similar movement off far less volume is a positive sign.
Thanks for the list, do you mind sharing the source? Thanks
Had you offered me a 54p close this morning
I'd have bitten both your hands off.
Very good day, the drop from 67p doesn't change that, it was literally there for 2 minutes if that.
From 50% down last week, to now be in the green is something remarkable.
Not getting carried away though because now the circus is truly in town and everything has gone out the window
Huge short squeeze coming here
If 10% of shares are short, around 137 million, and with a maximum average volume of 20m a day, that is going to take just under a week for all shorts to close! Ouchie.
The % of revenue generated from a ticket purchase, is small compared to concessions
25% of a ticket used to be the rule, perhaps that has changed now, but the sale of concessions is still the main stream.
Here's the thing..
Everyone is baulking at the18% drop, but it's Average True Range is still around 20, which means today it can feasibly go anywhere rom 52-32p
It could easily finish in positive territory today, and then its the shorters who are soiling themselves, and killing each other to buy (close), causing a huge squeeze, ticking the SP back up.
I know which position I'd rather be in..
Tell me about it! I could double that, and then some.
Oh wow 20%? Hold my beer..
Positivity is this will bounce back, we just have to take the beating and suffering beforehand.
My favourite part will be watching the shorters all scramble as they trample all over each other to close their position in the inevitable squeeze
Id be far more nervous as a shorter right now
