Suggest attendees of the AGM plan to arrive and register 30-60 minutes before the official start time. There will typically be teas and coffees laid on. Expect the box will then be there for after-meeting chats. How long they hang around for will depend on the mood on the day. Imho.
Then, it's good to meet up with fellow investors afterwards for a beer and a chat.
The BoD also mooted that with two massive projects now running in tandem the workload for the BoD has ratcheted up considerably.
I respect those that have sold a few though, these are uncertain times, but at the same time, if the BoD have re-prioritised the Premium Listing, it must be for good reason and so I'm happy to continue to roll with the punches.
At the end of the day, the SP is now (apparently) in a channel 10p above where it was trading earlier in the year.
Patience, would seem to continue to be the key word, with Warwick Deep, a tanker offload and the Capital Markets Day all due in short order!
Ps, omitted to say, met some interesting and amazing investors, had some thought provoking conversations with some board members and disagree with adoubleuks assessment of Dr Trice not behind in attendance.
He was where he and the Company felt that he was needed most and the video presentation was enjoyable and informative.
At dinner last night, prior to the HUR AGM today, an investor in both HUR and SXX told me that he bought into HUR at 40p four years ago and then watched his investment fall to to 10p! He is still also in SXX. Patience can be rewarded and so I see Sirius being today where Hurricane were three or four years ago, with many or most currently being similarly underwater.
The end game is different for both companies, SXX long term dividends, HUR looking to monetize through selling the assets, but the journey to the point of production is not dissimilar for both outfits.
Good luck to all long term Sirius Minerals investors (including me), imo, we will get there in the end.
I suspect that Dr Trice is still WoS overseeing the simultaneous 72 hour flow, after which, Wednesday morning he will hitch a ride on a military transporter out of ABZ and perform a HALO jump over central London, touching down just in time to deliver his presentation at 11 am.
