The securities of Metminco Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 15 June 2016 or when the announcement is released to the market.

If it was 'any day soon' the seller wouldn't be selling and, more to the point, the market makers wouldn't be taking it down at this speed - something has gone wrong.

Best to steer clear of this one, something has clearly gone wrong, somebody knows something that noone else knows for this to have lost 80 million in a fortnight - off the watchlist.

Is this company going bankrupt? It's lost 80 million in value in about two weeks? It was 1.40+ a week ago now sub 1.00. Any reason?

The MMs are very sell sensitive at the moment. They were very buy sensitive a week ago.

Thanks John, it's just that I was in HNR from 16p and will have a CGT liability this year over my allowance. I had written OXS off in 2015/16 but I'll re calculate my return to claw it back and use it this year. Hmm... every cloud has a silver lining.

If this is a write off when do I claim the CGT relief? Can I claim it in 2015/16 since that was when we found out the case was lost or do I claim it in this tax year 2016/17.

Ironic really, the hedge they have at 49 could be a shackle!

You would think that the Board would make a statement regarding the collapse of the share price. The SP has fallen 25% in the last two days. In fact it has fallen over 90% since the new directors were appointed. What's happening?

Falstaff, as I'm sure Marv73 will confirm, It's not a question of insolvency, most companies are insolvent, it's a question of whether you can service the debt when it falls due. If you can, then no one can put you into liquidation.

The assets must be worth something and we we did get about 11 million. Almost all of the loans were converted prior to the decision, right? Any guesses?
