The USA fraud case has been hanging around for months and many on here said it was a minor distraction. When it comes to USA lawsuits, they can prove expensive.
On the Leicester factories, again this story of getting around paying the minimum wage, will subdue the share price. There seems to be a ring of truth about it. So long as BooHoo aren't part of it, things should recover.
However, I remember reading a very interesting article in the Telegraph about a year ago which 'alleged' that a large number of Leicester factories had links to the Kamani 'extended family' and every time the authorities came close to exposing irregularities, the clothes company involved was liquidated and another company set up. I found that of particular concern because if true, it will be very damaging. Until the mud settles, I'm avoiding this share.

Why didn't I go into this a few weeks ago at around 2.30? All were suggesting 2.70 as a successful bid. An easy 10% profit.

Purchased through Interactive Investor. No problem

This is a well run company first brought to many people's attention by Jim Slater.
With a PE under 10, I think I may have missed an opportunity to 'add'. I've been in and out of this for a few years. Should have bought at 5.75 last week. Yep, another 'should have'! The only possible chance now will probably be if there is an overall correction in the market, which in my opinion is over due.

First was the Levitt report intimating poor corporate governance and family connections with dodgy Leicester factories.
PWC are getting out as it's getting too hot for them. They clearly don't want to be associated with potential murky practices.
The most interesting article of all was in the Telegraph a couple of weeks ago where investigations allegedly found over 120 different companies, run by friends and extended family of Kamani, strongly linked to poor Leicester factories. Everytime the investigators got close to something that smelt bad, company would close down and reopen under a different guise.
Not saying Boohoo will eventually clean it's act up, but for now it's a brave man to buy in now. I think there's more bad news ahead before good.

Thank you Happyzone. This is a bit weird as my broker Interactive Investor contacted me in July saying the last date for me to nominate my choice of cash or shares was the last week in August. Maybe it was their own internal deadline. But they didn't go on to say when the payment would be made. I've messaged them and am still waiting a reply!

Can anyone on here know when the restitution cash payments will be made? I cannot see any dates on the original corporate action documentation.

I remember Jim Slater tipping this share about six years back as one to watch. He has now passed away but I bought them at the time at around £1.75. I have sold and bought back a few times when they've reached about £5. It's a well run business with huge potential. I'm mystified why the share price regularly drifts downwards for no good reason, after what seem to be encouraging results. Yes, there is debt but the management know the business well, and have been very prudent this year. The big spread in the share price is really annoying, but I suppose that is the way of the AIM market.

As a novice, can someone tell me how there are so many trades done beyond the normal closing of the market. I see on this stock that trade were done right up until about 5.30pm.
I have always seen this as a well run company. Some seem to think they have overstretched themselves with acquisitions but, given the experience of the team, I see this as a long term growth story with strong organic growth to come. There are not too many quality AIM companies around. But I suspect this is one of only a few gems. I'm hoping it eventually gets taken over. In the meantime I'm holding and will certainly buy more if it drifts down to below £6 without any significant reason.
