Looking To Get In11 Aug 2009 01:27
Hi guys been doing a bit of research this evening and would be obliged if some of you guys who I know, know your stuff can back up my figures and answer a couple of questions.
Firstly, it doesn't look like their are many shares available to PI's. Of the 89,947,519 shares issued including the recent placement, there are only 7,149,000 available or approximately 7.9%.
I've only concentrated my research so far on Bomboko, which is hopefully only 5 weeks from full production.
Assuming WAD achieve their 35000 tonnes per month target, I have worked some figures based on a couple of scenarios.
At the previous production cost of 7.5USD per tonne, the cost of production would be $262,500
At the anticipated production cost of 5USD per tonne, the cost of production would be $175,000
Assuming a find in line with the previous of 6.21 carats per 100 tonne excavcated, we would have a total of 2173
carats
Based on the anticpated find of 7 carats per 100 tonne, we would have a total of 2450 carats
Previous sale was at an average of $116 per carat
On the above figures 2173 carats at $116 = $252,068 and at 2450 carats at $116 = $284,200
So best case scenario of lowest production cost and highest rate of carats extracted, we have a profit per month of $109,000, whilst worst case scenario of highest production cost, lower rate of carat extracted, equals a loss of $10,000 per month.
