This is up 30% since end of August, patience is required. Happy to see it gain support for a while around here before the next push up.

Nice steady buying again today, coupled with a tick up so far. A new 7 month high achieved and hopefully new support found at 24p. All good

I'm hanging on to see the outcome of the EGM. The more I think about it the more I believe CGM were shafted by the Authorities. With such a strong Institutional holding in the company and not many shares in issue, a rights issue to raise the capital to continue the funding of a mine already in production, would have in my opinion been well received. Lets face it we had a a decent resource, a rising gold price, and a lot of the infrastructure already in place.

Without doubt these have been taken up judging by the buying volume over the past week. The NT trade was reported late yesterday of 6.25 million as a sell, but I suspect judging by this mornings opening it was a buy.

Plenty more buys going through in steady tranches of 50k 100k and 250k, all at 25p even when it was possible to buy for slightly less. Over 6,000,000 traded on LSE already, nearly all buys. Latest buy gone through at 25.35, could get to 30 in a hurry. Lets not forget WKP were the first company in the sector to have an RI, so the SP will not have that cloud hanging over it. So much for topping up on the dip. 40% up on 3 buys, two of which are reported as sells, though I'm pretty sure looking at the price they are buys. Might buy a few more regardless of dip.

Been doing a bit of research and asked the MD a few questions via email. He was very prompt with his responses and extremely helpful. The capital raised from the initial placing is sufficient for the company to make acquisitions of a further 16.5MW of wind assists. The current farm at Gadag produces 24.8MW, is profitable and generating cash. A 20-year Power Purchase Agreement is in place with Bangalore Electricity Supply Company. On successful integration of the wind farms to be purchased, which will be both operational as well as construction ready, further capital will be required to make additional purchases. The plan is to have 300MW of operating capacity by 2013. The Groups operational critical mass is between 75MW to 100MW Additional fundraising is expected in H1 2010. If the company were to make acquisitons similar in nature to the one's already planned, my rough calculations show, they would need to raise a further 30 million pound to make purchases to generate 87MW of operating capacity. No decision has been made on the method of fundraising as yet. I agree the company looks very interesting in an area the Indian Government are keen to expand in. I have never purchased shares in a new issue before and don't really know what to expect. I shall give this some more thought and then maybe open up with a small stake. Anybody out there got any thoughts.

Looks like somone is building a stake here. Steady 100,000 buys this morning, then a couple of 250,000 buys followed by a 500,000 buy at 22.50. Ask just ticked up to 22.75. 24p may come sooner than expected

The next valuation of the property portfolio is to be carried out on the 30th September and the results will be included in the interim results for the 6 month period ending 30th September. These will be released on the 16th November.

Riddler we have broken throught the 27p resistance you talked about. What do you see as the next stage. Regards

A steady rise back up to 24p over the next few weeks will do nicely. With the property valuation down 33% last year and prices having stabilised, there is the possibility that the next valuation could show an increase, which in turn would show a increase in the NAV, currently standing at 27p. Not sure when the next valuation is due, anyone know of the top of their heads. I believe any piece of good news will see the SP break its latest 24p resistance and move quickly up to 30p.

In for some of these at 19.50, looking for a medium/long term hold. Jister, I think the whole of the capital should receive a boost for the Olympics, although I don't see the property sector benefitting as much as say the retail sector. That said if anyone in the sector can take advantage, it should be WKP, with their short term renting. We may see some teams management or some media crews taking some short term office space. GLA

Riddler many thanks, I'm looking at these as a medium long term hold, but its always nice to hear your short term view. James, I have tended to have a similar approach to you and like you have started to pay a lot more interest in posts from Riddler and the like. I have always been fairly patient when sitting on shares even when they appear static. What I have recently learnt is to be patient when buying into shares. I'm now quite happy to see it start to rise before coming aboard. ATB

Going to hold on to what I have and probably top up, when they drop the price. They did this last time positive news came out. Spread is generally to big to sell and buy back in on the drop. Don't have a massive holding and to be honest had written it off. Potential in a couple of years is massive, IF the finance comes through. Going to stick a few more quid in and write it off.

Have the Chinese had over another company, similar to China Goldfields, constantly putting obstacles in their way to prevent the mine working. "Continued security breaches, theft and other local community issues have impacted on the decision to make further investment". (taken from website) Holding quite big in Leyshon Resources, whose mining license is taking forever to be granted. Thinking of selling in there now. We now know why the chairman and company secretary upped sticks and left. Does anyone trust the current board to invest the cash wisely.
