Xenor, I think there may have been some confusion as regards holdings around that placing.
In their previuos holding RNS in January they went from 11.87% to 12.09% then the placing happened and they went to 11.62%.
In shares they went from 9,839,787 @ 12.09% to 10,881,921 @ 11.62%. Shares up but percentage down.
In think January they had to re issues an RNS because of a similar confusion.

Was just pointing out that Kavé DIDN'T sell out immediately. He waited for nearly two months before reducing his holdings. For whatever reason.

I'm not sure if it's a problem with the company being so lax at updating the significant holders page or if it's just a case of those that are supposed to inform the company any significant chages are slow at doing so. But having noticed these large gaps in the past, it's nothing new.

Again with the overly emotive language FD, imo. He "Immediatly sold" on the 19th of January, two months after the preferredbidder RNS. Not saying that his and Killk's selling hasn't had an effect, but what really killed the rise was the trading update on the last day of the year.
We are now back at the same point that we were on the update day, so let's see what happends now. :)

This could be damn close to a loss leader for all I care as it's not just about the bottom line on this one contract. But all the stuff that comes along with it. Yard upgrades, skills transfer... And also with the pipeline of vessels the MoD eventually want to build. It was said by BW at one of the yard visits, "work for the next thirty years".

Maybe one of the ships has extra "aft". :)

I've seen lots of pictures of similar platforms in the docks there. Previous owners Fred Olsen did a few so there may be workers still there that have worked on them before.

Stokey, nothing to suggest that this is the case, but could Team Resolute be waiting on getting those questions answered and out of the way before publishing/finalising the sub-contract?
As one would have thought that they would have sorted out the "who does what" part of the contract during the time it's taken from first submitting their bid to now.
