Well, not news exactly, just a bit of talk really. From chatting to people down at Appledore/ W.Ho!. Not from the yard directly, so take it as you wish. Apparently the first minesweeper is expected in around the middle of next month. With the other to follow. Not sure which one first though. This bit was interesting, a mention of possible work on something for Scilly. This maybe be just old news being repeated as they had no idea what it was about. Obvious what I thought.
Maybe nothing, but hope springs eternal. Kinda has to here.
That upcoming investor day should be interesting if there are vessels to have a gander at. :)

You would think at some point it would reach an area where the bulls step in, creates a bit of FOMO and it goes the other way. But, TBH, every time it get's to point where I think it can't go any lower and I buy some more. Guess what? Yeah, it goes lower. And to make it more anoying, on what you would think was good news, as well.
I've given up trying to second guess it. And, run out of funds for now, to chase it any further.

Stokey, I'm not saying you are wrong. But I do know the site reasonably well and that was my interpretation.
It's like saying that I own an acre freehold land. A 1000 square foot house, 2000 square foot barn and a garage. I've still only got an acre of land no matter how I list it or what I add, structure wise.

I think JW's issue with the housing development was that they wanted to run drainage from the site down through the yard. And it's not even that close, tbh.

Yes, the future does look bright, when based on the headline news in RNS's, presentations and what the BoD tell us via Linked-in. It's certainly a lot better than it has been for a while. but do you think that these boards should only reflect the good stuff and that LTH's should say nothing, even if they are unhappy with past proceedings? That, to me anyhow, just seems dishonest. I'm all for new people jumping onboard and raising the SP as it get me closer back to break-even. But, imo, at least let them have a fuller picture.
Seems that some just want the sunshine and roses. And newcomers... well, caveat emptor and dyobr. 'cause i'll be alright if I say nothing and they just keep buying. Nice.

That said and FWIW, still buying at these prices and took some more under 12p this morning. :)

Just my interpretation, but I didn't think it was an "also". I thought that was the area of land in total. Including all the existings buildings, stock yard, car parks, etc. And the Newquay yard as well.

No offence, but I think you need a better look at the Appledore site, Stokey. Maybe it would give you a better idea of what "spare" land you think they have there.

Xenor, Speedy was a staunch supporter of the company when he was a holder. When you've had a few years of what most LTH's have been through you might understand. And TBH, the company has been "about to turn a corner" in all the ten years i've been here. And the dilution in that time, well... only about 20,000%. Yeah, crazy amount. :) So maybe don't be so quick to judge, hey. :)
Not going to say that things are different now, even though it looks like they might be. Been caught out thinking that way so many times before. lol
But, sometimes, you just have to take history and sentiment out of the equation and just go by the numbers.

Speedy, with the greatest respect, if you genuinely have accepted your loss, just let it go. I get it, I really do, but your well meaning altruism, if that 's what it is, will just come over as sour grapes or worse. Sometimes you just have to let people learn for themselves and hope that they actually do DTOR.

An hour in on a 9.6m conract RNS day and it's 5% down. Jeeze, this is being played like a fiddle.

imo, they are place markers to make sure a trade has gone through at a higher level. Usually follwed by a sell at a increased bid price. Usally SINT trades.

Hasn't stopped them doing them though, Speedy.
So most seem to think a raise is not needed.
Mikey thinks one would be a good idea.
And I'm half expecting one. lol

Evening all. Not sure how many have watched an IMC presentation before but I've watched a few for various companies. I quite like them for the most part. In fact, I suggested a whileback that maybe, if enough people requested one, they may contact Harl to do one. This one seems to be a company driven one. Which I guess, is good.
They normally follow a set routine of a presentation, with a slide deck followed by the Q&A. Usually reading from the pre-submitted questions first and then, if time, will answer any questions submitted on the night. Times vary as to how much they devote to each but they usually run for an hour. Hopefully they will have collated the pre-submitted questions beforehand. Otherwise it gets very repetitive due to lots of people wanting answers the same question. Also, don't be surprised to not get your question asked if they feel they don't want to talk about a certain subject. They will cherry pick. :)
They also archive the video of presentations for future reference. Or if you miss it on the night. Unless it goes really badly and they make them pull it. lol
The same with the Q&A's, with a list of the questions and the corresponding audio file to play the answer.
Hopefully it will become a regular event.
