Not trying to be subtle, James. Them's the facts, imo. They RNS these options at inflated prices to the current SP, people get excited and see it as some sort of near term target, and that is that. They are never used or mentioned again, AFAICS.
They just seem to run their course and expire or are replaced by the next lot.
Don't take my word for it, have a look back through the previous ones.

Looks good, doesn't it. They must have confidence to set such high prices.
Was curious, so I've just been looking through all the previous options they RNSed.
Alas, if like all the previous options granted, I doubt they will ever get used.

If I recall, I beleive there was some issue with one of those cruise dockings.
But besides that, I think you may have missed the second Cory contract for 9.6m in July.
"Confirmed" amounts by way of RNS since the 1st of June was around £73m. Plus their largest export contract to date, to which no ammount was given. AFAICS

A lot on here are so obviously doing exactly the same thing, while at the same time also encouraging others to keep buying, shares are running out, get in now............ blah, blah. When it suits.
But at least you admit to it, and without a ramp in sight.

Morning Avyer. Getting on the main market sounds a good way to go. Will have to have a look back as Mary posted the requirements the other day. If they did want to bring in some new II's on board they would have to create some stock from somewhere as there is not much left in free float to give them any sizable holding. imo

TBH, my first reaction on reading it was, oh ho here we go. New broker, they must be getting ready for a placing some time soon. Always thought one was on the cards but they would wait until the contract is signed.
Yeah, yeah. Save all the , sold out, wants in cheaper... nonsense. It's just my opinion. Time will tell.

Picking up on a few things mentioned. Yes, it's a huge win for Harl, no doubt about that, so I would imagine that they will want to milk it for as much "bragging rights"as they can. Similar to other contracts, MOU's, LOI's.... etc. that they have used for PR purposes in the past. ;) But in this instance they may be stymied by the fact that it's a partnership with two other companies. And without taking away the importantance of the contribution from BMT, two main contractors.
Both will see this contract as a way to prove themselves worthy of future contracts and not look like an "also ran". And given the contentious aspect of this contract award they are going to be under close scrutiny from the usual suspects.
So the "who does what" may have to become a bit more fluid than just a simple percentage figure quoted in a press release. Besides, maybe, details of the £77 million investment into the shipyards infrastructure, I would imagine that financial details will only be given, periodically, and over the life on the contract. During normal financial updates.

It was the Friday before the peak in the SP on the following Monday. The next day, the Tuesday, was the non-core demerger RNS. We've been going down hill pretty much ever since. What was the point in launching it if it was never going to used, within the company? Certainly got the SP up another few percent, if I was being cynical.

Sorry Kaeren. I can see where I may have caused the misunderstanding now. That 18:05 post was from the last time I did the numbers which was sometime ago and not recently. I should have put the date. It was just as an example. Obviously out of context in this case. I had already posted the same link as you, plus another, in my first two posts to the question.

BTW. These are just calculated figures. I didn't cross reference them against the actual holdings RNS's for the individual companies/ significant holders. Yet. :)

Steamineagle, not sure about the 13.7% not in public hands at the mo. But I guess as the company hold the register of investors they would know what the free float is. And may be that is it. FWIW, that would be 23,587,292 shares.

LSE. Last time I did this to any degree of accuracy, with all the information available at the time , it looked like this.
Bod - 2.01%
II's - 32.37%
LSE and ADVFN holders - 8.155% ( From info submitted, so factor in an element of honesty. )
Tr1's - 3.33% (Only one at the time as a recent placing had knocked the other under the 3% threshold. )
Unknown 13.11% (Again these, we assumed, were those that took up the placing but under 3%)
Total - 58.98%
Obviously there were a lot more PI's holdings that had not been shared. Some, from knowing them from the boards, appeared to hold quite a few but were unwilling to disclose actual amounts in an open forum. Their shout of course.
And there would have been holders that didn't frequent the boards.
But, it did give us some idea of the free float, at the time.

Usually loads in as funds but you can switch to institutions with the tab on the far right of ownership then scroll the bottom bar to find out when it was last updated.
H&W website for significant holdings isn't always bang up to date. 13/11 as it stands.
