Nicely put Dia. Shame that those that so vehemently opposed to the dark arts of TA don't just ignore any threads on the topic completly. There should be room for all aspects of investing. I've often thought that the Aquis chat boards here on LSE could be used for seperate discussion of TA. Every stock has one and they are only ever posted on by mistake.

Never really got the idea that anyone in the US couldn't buy until 2:30pm. The LSE is open, so what is stopping someone buying, regardless of where they are? My accounts with my broker don't stop working at 4:30pm when the LSE closes.

HiW, no, the small trades are SI trades. Indicated by identifier code "SINT" in the main LSE trade data.
I think they may be broker to broker trades used as part of a seperate larger trade.
Bit of a minefield researching them in the past, tbh.

More than a few matching trades would suggest it's just chancers trading a quite narrow channel as it dips and rises.
Making a few quid or shares here and there for their troubles. Or in some cases, like this one from yesterday, a bit of a loss. 12:49:16 bought 100,706 @15.05p sold for a loss a bit later at 14:45:05 100,706 @15.03p.
Seems a bit of an effort, imo, unless you're bored or just wanted to make a game of it. :)
