I'm new to ASOS. And def out of the loop.
I see results are being released on the 12 April - would you know how has the share price reacted with previous results being released?
The Long Term Technicals aren't very promising, I've yet to look into the Fundamentals.
Any personal recommendations to consider re ASOS?
Matt Lofgran, Nostra Terra's Chief Executive Officer, said:
"In light of the recent pricing volatility in the oil markets, we felt it prudent to update shareholders with steps we've taken to secure future revenue for the Company. The Coronavirus, and general uncertain geo-political climate, have caused huge downward pressure on oil prices. During this time of turbulence, we're pleased to be able to share with shareholders that just over half of our current revenue stream for 2020 is protected, guaranteeing a price of $55 to $57 per barrel...
We also look forward to updating shareholders and the market on progress the Board is making regarding other transformational plans for 2020 in due course"
Could someone please summarize what is happening with this company? Is Lofgran likely to be booted out soon?
RNS: "The Board of Nostra Terra announces that on 27 March 2020 it received a letter from Eridge Capital Limited, dated 24 March 2020, requisitioning a general meeting ("GM") of the Company's shareholders (the "Requisition"). The Requisition proposes that shareholders be asked to consider a resolution to remove Matt Lofgran as a director of the Company. The Company will comply with its obligations under the Companies Act 2006 and, subject to establishing the validity of the Requisition, will convene a GM. Further announcements will be made in a due course."
Does anyone have any hope for this company?
If so, why?
If not, are you in it and if so why and when will you get out!?
I should have sold (at a smaller loss) ages ago but kept on waiting... stupidly, yes I know.
Now it's pretty much a write off, so I'm in the c’est la vie mindset! Wait and see. A gamble.
I now know the history, the historical RNSs, the bs blagged, Egypt, etc., but can't pull myself to sell and recoup the little I can! Stupidly got involved with this company.
If you're thinking you can find the next Google or whatever on AIM. Think again. If you're after a quick buck. Think again. Any listing without a proven track record, a decent R&D budget, decent management, etc. isn't going to work. Your cash's safety is better upheld under your mattress. Get low cost, diversified trackers. Don't waste your time here.

“Based on Trey's analysis, Nostra Terra has concluded that the Initial Acreage contains 2,400,000 barrels of recoverable oil. Using Trey's current and mid-case estimates, Nostra Terra has assigned a US$21,600,000 NPV10 valuation to the Initial Acreage at current strip pricing and a US$28,600,000 NPV10 at US$60 oil. Using these prices, the Company calculates that Mesquite delivers an Internal Rate of Return ("IRR") of between 34% and 46%."
Matt Lofgran, Chief Executive Officer of Nostra Terra, commented:
“Now that we have the first complete iteration of the Mesquite Field Development Plan, we are in a position to commence farm-in discussions. Mesquite is an extremely ambitious project for a company of Nostra Terra's size, with a great deal of potential to expand the current acreage."
“Teaming up with the right industry partner could unlock substantial value for shareholders, both in terms of the current NPV10 estimates and securing a much greater regional footprint."
Well and truly f**t - they've played us like a fiddle. I'm done with AIM. I'm done with big risk, 'potential' big return. There are no shortcuts to this. I'm buying VWRL and VGOV, and that's that. Spend less, save more, compound, minimise cost + patience. I just need to try 'time the market' and get out of deadbeat NTOG! Before it goes belly up. What a sh** show AIM is.
I just stumbled across an article called, "Why Nostra Terra Oil and Gas Company plc’s (LON:NTOG) CEO Pay Matters To You"
"We like that the company is growing EPS, but we cannot say the same about the lackluster shareholder returns (over the last three years). Considering the positives we don’t think the CEO pays is too high, but it’s certainly hard to argue it is too low."
I thought it might be of interest.
Haha yeah, I know they are! I was playing on that they will either drown or they might break into stroke and get somewhere. I have a fair bit of money wrapped up in this, part of my SIPP decades away, so time isn't an issue for me. I plan on waiting it out... either sell at a single digit loss or if it takes off, happy days.
