It's not spot on. Children who are proteting haven't demanded air condition in every room. It's been put there by the adults.
If you really think kids or anyone should stand by and just watch the planet being destroyed you need a bit of a wake up call.

If the planet becomes uninhabitable, there's not much point in investing to accumulate.
It's a very important subject, far more important than the repetitive dross posted daily on here.

I think an interesting question is "what do climate change deniers stand to gain"?
Surely they can see the damage we're doing to the planet and arguing that it isn't contributing to climate change seems a very odd stance to me.
Any sensible person would take the more cautious route and at least try to make a positive difference.

When you are standing on the edge of cliff you know is crumbling, it's not terribly sensible to continue to stand there and argue the ifs an buts about the fissure opening behind you.
