Look let's break this down - firstly I didn't say you said there was no copper, that was Jed who has managed to cope with me pointing out the facts without going into meltdown, credit to him. Okay now onto copper, I happen to think the possibility of copper is quite interesting and I will make no apology for talking about it. You wanted to oppose what I was saying as usual so have managed to back yourself in the awkward position that talking about it is pointless until it is in the PFS which is IMO ridiculous, we have always had copper showing up so I think it is a relevant conversation. If you don't want to talk about it then don't but why on earth it should be off limits because it isn't a rubber stamped JORC resource doesn't make any sense. Should we not have talked about the silver when it wasn't proven? I'm not saying it is definitely going to turn up again we might not even have the money to investigate it properly and it may not exist in the necessary quantities to justify any expenditure but it is a reasonable talking point. You seem to be worried that I'm creating an expectancy that will end in disappointment, well I admit I'm hopeful that we could get a copper credit but it's not like the expectancy is priced in, blimey our indicated Zn, Pb-Ag isn't even priced in!! Every member of this board should be grown up enough to manage their own expectations and they don't need you attempting to censor me to protect them from themselves. If the assays come back and they finally say that it's now clear that these continuous detections of copper mean nothing and it will never be mined at Toral the market won't bat an eyelid. Finally if you don't like speculation then don't buy shares particularly high risk ones which this still is, I'm looking for anything in Toral that might give me an advantage over the non-believers and I think copper could be something that will do that. If it doesn't then fine none of our investments are dependent on it but it might possibly be a bonus one day.

Nobody is allowed to mention copper until we know it will be in the PFS on the say so of BB, by pursing a losing argument you have ended up looking ridiculous. Should have cut your losses earlier old bean.

The CEO of EUZ said copper will be mined at Toral as it was just across the road at Antonina (secondary to Pb-Zn), copper consistently appears in our assays so a fair deduction that copper might, maybe, possibly have a positive impact on us. This will always be a Pb-Zn-Ag mine first but we could have a bit of copper. My comments follow a reasonable line of analysis yours Gam well..... do you read your stuff back?

Danger of going round in circles here but what makes you think my talking about copper means people are taking it as part of the asset? I couldn't be clearer we know it's there 100% there, officially reported as detectable but it isn't in the JORC or had any metallurgy applied to it. I think people can make up their own minds if they want to have expectations that something good could come of it or not.

Ps. Both being daft, they said 12-18 months a while back. I think after the equity raise in a 2020 interview LR said 12-18 months but that was when they expected to start drilling before Christmas 2020.

Thanks Bricks - just for the record and to be 100% clear I don't know if it will or won't be economic to pursue it but it's plain wrong to say that it isn't there. IMO it's a reasonable discussion point, will it be disappointing if there isn't any to talk about in the current drilling? Yes of course but I can live with that and it doesn't mean it should be some kind of taboo subject.

Bobby it is a hard fact that the copper is there, it's not confusing. Whether we can incorporate it meaningfully into a JORC or even if it is compatible to produce with the Pb Zn Ag production only metallurgy will tell. The history of Toral drilling is littered with references to copper, it isn't 'forum speculation'.

Okay mate (and sorry for being irritable) but it's there. Laurence is also on record as saying that whoever develops Toral will be mining copper. In the past it made economic sense to concentrate limited funds on our principal products but the copper price may have changed that. We even had a small indicated copper resource in the past. I don't know if we can build on that or whether the new JORC model means we would be starting from scratch. For all I know it still might not be prolific enough to make it worthwhile pursuing but the copper is there definitely.

You need to do some more reading before putting your head above the parapet Jed or it will just get shot off every time, copper shows up frequently. Have you read the Micon report?

Yes I agree Mm's we shouldn't look at Europa in isolation which is why all these peripheral regional developments are relevant. I think it just annoys some posters because they're hacked off with the SP which is understandable. The local engagement was always going to be fundamentally important and even the biggest critic of LR should applaud the fact that this was put up front and centre not just with lip service but real action early doors. If we keep the local bureaucrats on side then I'm certain amazing things can happen with timescales, there is a slight concern that I think due to being a geographic boundary we historically intersect multiple provinces so keeping everyone happy will be a juggling act. Certainly think our Spanish team performed admirably on camera though José Luis picked up so many rock samples on camera I hope his pockets were checked at the end of the shift!

Not sure but the first FCR drills at Toral were in 2017. Just checking I found this from JT, funny how we're back where we started in a way:
“We are pleased to have started FCR’s first drilling campaign for lead-zinc in Spain. This shallow drilling programme at Toral is targeting new mineralisation at surface to add to the known lead-zinc intersections at depth for which an historic resource estimate of 8.71m tonnes at an economic cut-off grade of 7% lead plus zinc was previously disclosed. Our objective is to define the presence of further lead-zinc deposits near to surface similar to the nearby Antonina and Rubiales projects where mineralisation has been mined in the top 200m sub-surface".
